Mina 2.0!!!!

I love this new side to Mina, she’s such a rockstar, so bold and so confident . Her and Brian are even more of a perfect couple now. This was such a fun novella and could only be better if it was longer (that’s always my complaint because I can never get enough). I can’t wait for the other novellas to release this year.
The narrators were a duo that I’ve come to love, both as a team and individually. They told not only this Kitty story but also the completed “Broken Dolls” together. Separately Meg narrated “The Proposal” and Troy narrated “Berserker”. I love that Meg makes the characters sound like regular down to earth girls and Troy is very good at changing his voice in order to portray many male characters within the same story.

Loved it all over again!!

I have previously read this book and loved every second of it. Once the audio was to be released I knew I would have to listen to the story to get this unique perspective. The story was just beautiful. Our poor girl Mina has been through quite some bad relationships especially with her very abusive ex Jason. She’s almost given up on dominant and submissive relationships when she’s given one last very different opportunity that is said to be able to guarantee her safety away from another abusive man. Will this opportunity pan out, or will Mina end up in another bad situation with a permanently unhappily ever after?? You’ll find out when you read it!!
The narrators are two that I really like. Meg Sylvan is able to give a “normal” girl sounding voice, like she did in “The Proposal” that isn’t super breathy and unrealistic like some romance novel narrators have. Troy Duran gives the male perspective and is great at changing his voice to match a characters personality, especially when there are multiple men in a book. Like he was able to do in “The Berserker”

Shannon is my new book boyfriend

Again Kitty gives us wonderful writing and a complex and riveting story line. I was captivated from chapter one. I could not stop listening and became immediately invested in the main characters happiness. I absolutely love love love Shannon and he is my new book boyfriend! No wonder she is referred to as the dark romance genre queen, she surly knows how to write a captivating story. Lucy Rivers narrated this story and she did a great job portraying each character and really bringing them to life. Five hot alpha stars.

This was such a great story and so unexpected from Kitty. I love that she is exploring this Berserker world and I hope we get more stories from this world. Both narrators were great and really helped to add depth to the characters. I’d recommend, this story to any fan of romance (dark or light) or fantasy.

Such a great story

I loved the theme of this story. Once you start, your not going to want to stop listening to it because it really draws you in. I love Helene (the main character) as equally as I loved Gabriel (the villain?). The characters are very 3D with a lot of depth. I’d recommend this book to everyone who loves dark romance (not that dark).

I love these narrators!

I love this story!! The characters are so lovable (and despicable) in this story. We have a woman who really knows what she wants in regards to dating but her brilliant plan spectacularly blows up in her face!! I also love that this story was told out of sequential order. It lets the story move along, but still leaves a bunch of surprises that otherwise would have been spoiled in the beginning of the book. This is one of my absolute favorite authors so I tried the audiobook and loved it!! I tend to shy away from romance audio because of the way the narrators speak, but these narrators truly spoke like regular people. The woman’s voice wasn’t overly breathy and the man didn’t give me cringes when saying certain words. These are actually my favorite romance narrators so far. Excellent story and excellent narration!!
