This is the type of impactful storytelling that’s been missing from canon novels. Really well written and I love the characterizations, both for new and returning characters. I always love more Luke content!

Couldn’t think of a more perfect conclusion to this trilogy. It feels self contained but also adds to the world building in unique ways. The character work is also really well done and their arcs are super satisfying

This was an amazing book. The new era was written so well and there is great loss in the novel with actual consequences which is new for canon novels. It does feel like set up for the rest of the era but it was so well done and so many of my new favorite characters. Avar Kriss is probably my new favorite Jedi

Not going to connect to TROS that much besides one planet that will show up in the movie. But still mostly good and will pass the time. I would Recommend only to Canon junkies who read everything.

Better than Alliances

This book gives me hope for future Thrawn stories post the Rebels TV show finale, but beyond that, it was an okay book. Nothing crazy, but not bad by any means. Only pick it up if you're a big Thrawn or Rebels fan. If not, just look up the story online.

Only 2 chapters feel like what everyone feared this book would be, a marketing tool for glaxy's edge, but the rest of the book was amazing and I absolutely loved this novel. One of the top level canon books and I hope we see Batuu in TROS.
