It’s also a story of redemption and finding that true love that can lift you out of the worst that life can throw at you.

King Creates a World with magical detail

I loved this book. I’m embarrassed to admit this is the 1st King book I’ve read. I have been afraid to read them because I thought they were all scary. I had no idea of his total body of work.
This book’s description grabbed me and so I decided to give it a go. I’m so glad I did.
King has the rare talent to create a who new world with magical detail. So much so, that I can see everything in my mind. His characters in this book were well flushed out. I miss them now that I have finished the book.
The narrator was amazing, in my opinion. He brought some of the ghastly characters to life by his ability to match the voice with how King describes it to be.
On one hand I didn’t want it to end, but on the other hand, I couldn’t stop listening.
I’ve already lined up my next book, and it is by Stephen King!

This story was heartbreaking and beautiful, in equal measure.
The women who performed the characters were simply fantastic. With an audio book, this can make or break someone listening to a book. I know I have passed on good books because I’ve read bad reviews on the narrators. But I think they were wonderful.
The characters in this book were so well developed that you could easily picture them and their situations in your mind.
I felt all the Feels while reading this book. Highly recommend!
