Historia
In early 2019, after three years of careful planning, Rahaf Mohammed finally escaped her abusive family in Saudi Arabia—but made it only to Bangkok before being stripped of her passport. If forced to return home, she was sure she would be killed, like other rebel women in her country. As men pounded at the door of her barricaded hotel room, she opened a Twitter account. The teenager reached out to the world, and the world answered—she gained 45,000 followers in one day, and those followers helped her seek asylum in the West. Now Rahaf Mohammed tells her remarkable story in her own words.

Bravest girl on the world
Revisado: 05-20-24
for thos young woman brave, is not even close to a big enough word to describe her. I saw the 4 corners documentary on YouTube and that made me wanna read her book. I'm so glad I did this young woman went through so much trauma and after being beat and threatened, she still was able to summon up the courage to escape. this book is amazing and every woman should read it.

Very good book
Revisado: 12-30-22
This was definitely a book that I will be reading again. I first read this book after buying it in the kindle store then I saw that there was an audio version and I didn't hesitate to buy it and when I started to listen I knew I was going to enjoy the this version of the book as well. I got to hear things that I actually missed while just reading. It was so good and addictive and I have listened to this book several times since getting the audio version

Not a story of kidnapping
- De Brittany Woodard en 10-13-22
I'm sorry but she wasn't kidnapped
Revisado: 12-30-22
while I want to start off saying that yes she did experience something awful, I'm sorry I don't think she was kidnapped. She had so many opportunities to get out of this situation but never did. she was in a hospital where her friend just had a baby, and she didn't say anything because she didn't want to take the attention from her friend. I don't care if I had 6 babies at once, if my friend said she was kidnapped tell me. She also had an opportunity to tell her brother and didn't. I do agree this guy was trash and very abusive, but I can't say I believe she was kidnapped. I guess I kept waiting for this girl to wake up, and get out of this situation. I do believe she went through something bad but this book was not what I expected. To say she was kidnapped was very far fetched

Historia
Four decades after it first shook the nation, then the world, William Peter Blatty's thrilling masterwork of faith and demonic possession returns in an even more powerful form. Raw and profane, shocking and blood-chilling, it remains a modern parable of good and evil and perhaps the most terrifying novel ever written.

I really expected to like this book more
Revisado: 08-20-21
I have to say that this was a book that I was really excited to read. I have seen the movie so many times so I couldn't wait to start reading this book. I read a lot of reviews that said this book was terrifying, scary, and a nonstop thriller. While the scary parts in this book were every single one of those descriptions those scary parts were very few and far between. So much of this book was clearly padding and really made a lot of this book very boing. That being said the narration for this book was outstanding. The way that the narrator portrayed that demon was amazing and truly scary. Every time the demon would chuckle I would get tingles. This narrator was so good that it made me want to continue just to hear him talk like the demon. It's not often that a narrator can carry a book but this was truly what happened here in my opinion. The ending I have to say was very disappointing it was very anticlimactic and I'm sorry to say I was really expecting way more than I got. Overall this book was not at all terrible but I have to say I don't think I will be reading it again

Loved, Loved, Loved, this book so much
Revisado: 08-20-21
This to me was one of those book I have to say I didn't expect to really like. I have seen both of the movies that this book was made into and I have to say that after seeing both I have noticed that both movies took a lot from this book which made reading listening to this book that much better, Like I said I was not really expecting to like this book, but I was so wrong this book caught me right from the start band kept my attention throughout the entire book. I would definitely recommend that you read this book especially if you have seen both movies
