Historia
In this thrilling supernatural mystery, Sherlock Holmes and Count Dracula must join forces to banish a terrible enemy. Sherlock Holmes is dead. His body lies in a solitary grave on the Sussex Downs, England. But Dr. Watson survives and is now given permission to release tales in Sherlock’s “classified dossier”, those cases that are, dear listener, unbelievable - for their subject matter is of the most outré and grotesque nature.

Felt very integrated into the original world of Holmes
Revisado: 11-08-24
Keeping this brief - I really LOVE these books. I really enjoyed the world’s colliding. Without spoiling anything, I did not like that in this world, the Bram Stoker book is an unapproved biography, and our Dracula here is separate from that book. I would have preferred that Dracula was Dracula. It would be as weird as if Klaver’s Holmes reference Doyle’s books.
Lastly, each narrator is great on their own, but three narrators for the three novels was disruptive.

Historia
A series of grisly murders rocks London. At each location, only a jumble of bones remains of the deceased, along with a bizarre sphere covered in strange symbols. The son of the latest victim seeks the help of Sherlock Holmes and his former partner, Dr. John Watson. They discover the common thread tying together the murders. Bizarre geometries, based on ancient schematics, enable otherworldly creatures to enter our dimension, seeking to wreak havoc and destruction.

Neat to see Holmes & Watson facing a familiar evil
Revisado: 11-01-21
The writing was done in a neat perspective, if the audience is familiar with the Lovecraft Mythos, it is fun to watch the world’s greatest detective struggle comprehending forces he does not understand, but the reader sort if does.
I gave to also give props to the author - to get her research on both properties so well. Holmes felt like Holmes. And the Dagonian lines were spot on…I think I even heard the narrator say “Toa-Toa” at one point in the runes readings. Hey, its a fun story. Can’t wait to dive into Book 2.
