Historia
Do you long for an intimate relationship with your Creator, but He seems elusive? Perhaps it is because something utterly essential is missing—the fear of the Lord. Don’t let this frighten you. Fearing God is very different than being afraid of God. It’s the key to everything.

A must read for everyone
Revisado: 02-25-25
This book really showed me that I loved Jesus, but I am not sure I fear God. I had to really think about if I did or not. I never looked at it in that way. Fearing God is so important and I’m glad this book lays it out and defines what fearing Him means. God is so amazing and I’m in Awe of Him the more and more I seek Him. Thank you.

Historia
Over two grim nights in Los Angeles, the young followers of Charles Manson murdered seven people, including the actress Sharon Tate, then eight months pregnant. With no mercy and seemingly no motive, the Manson Family followed their leader's every order. Twenty years ago, when journalist Tom O'Neill was reporting a magazine piece about the murders, he worried there was nothing new to say. Then he unearthed shocking evidence of a cover-up behind the "official" story, including police carelessness, legal misconduct, and potential surveillance by intelligence agents.

Very very interesting
Revisado: 08-10-24
Wow, to see the ties everything has, and how everyone is connected whether good or bad was eye opening! The narrator did a great job with detailing and emphasizing certain areas he wanted to bring more light to, but this is a book everyone needs to read.

At first, Logan Ramsay isn’t sure if anything’s different. He just feels a little . . . sharper. Better able to concentrate. Better at multitasking. Reading a bit faster, memorizing better, needing less sleep. But before long, he can’t deny it: Something’s happening to his brain. To his body. He’s starting to see the world, and those around him—even those he loves most—in whole new ways. The truth is, Logan’s genome has been hacked. And there’s a reason he’s been targeted for this upgrade.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and learned a lot from reading it. The relationship dynamics were intriguing and you never knew what was going to happen chapter to chapter.

Historia
1945. In the waning months of World War II, Japan hid vast quantities of gold and other stolen valuables in boobytrapped underground caches all across the Philippines. By 1947 some of that loot was recovered, not by treasure hunters, but by the United States government, which told no one about the find. Instead, those assets were stamped classified, shipped to Europe, and secretly assimilated into something called the Black Eagle Trust.
