Great book! I Ioved the characters, especially Cass, whom I can relate to. It’s about love, betrayal and enlightenment with an element of mystery. Loved it!

The plot, the character development, the narration were all superb! It is about Jim Crow’s town in Florida in the 1950s. The struggles of being black and the fight for freedom.

I loved everything about this novel. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys thrillers with unexpected twists.
I hope this story can bring to live another book about X as he was the most terrifying character and I can imagine a sequel to this story in the future.
