Historia
More than 30 years ago, nutrition researcher T. Colin Campbell and his team at Cornell University, in partnership with teams in China and England, embarked upon the most comprehensive study ever undertaken of the relationship between diet and the risk of developing disease. What they found, when combined with findings in Campbell's laboratory, opened their eyes to the dangers of a diet high in animal protein and the unparalleled health benefits of a whole foods, plant-based diet.

What a incredibly informative life changing read! The China Study is now in my Top 5 Books of all time. I don't know how anyone could read this and not want to change everything about their eating habits. I read this book and immediately reread it to make sure I could soak up all of the information. I have purchased paperbacks to give away as Christmas presents this year. If you are on the fence about this book, i can't recommend it enough. For your health, wealth, and longevity of life, read it. You'll thank yourself.

Historia
She was already well-known in some circles before March 6, 2018, but that's probably the first time you heard the name Stormy Daniels. That's the day she filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump over a nondisclosure agreement negotiated before the election but never signed. How did Stormy Daniels become the woman willing to take on a president? What is it like to be reviled by some, held up as a beacon of hope by others, and to be an object of fascination to all? In this audiobook, Stormy Daniels tells her whole story for the first time....

Finished in two days!! Couldn't stop listening.
Revisado: 10-25-18
I was pleasantly surprised to learn how real Stormy was. Listening to her upbringing was honestly a lot like listening to my own. Her love for horses made her relatable. I was also very surprised how successful she has been in life. I didn't know she was so accomplished. She should be very proud of herself for being such a good role model for her daughter. She's smart, successful, intelligent, and hilarious. I totally recommend this book, it's a short read and well worth the time.

Revisado: 08-06-18
LOVE LOVE LOVED this book. I reread it as soon as I finished. This book is completely life changing. It made me step back and see how wasteful I was being and gave me many many ways to change it. I highly suggest reading this book. Everyone really should. I am thinking about buying multiple copies and giving them away as Christmas presents. It definitely changed my life, and it will change yours too. We ALL could be less wasteful.

Made me remember my high school days
Revisado: 08-06-18
I couldn't put this down. I don't know why, there wasn't too much info to be learned, I just felt like I was gossiping with my girlfriends. All girls love a good gossipy conversation and this book fulfilled these needs. I yelled at the phone "Don't do that girl" and "Oh my goodness, stop doing that!!!". I have done most of the mistakes these girls did. It made me feel good to know that i wasn't the only one to do 'dumb kid stuff'. I hope there a sequel to this book. I enjoy listening to their update.

Historia
Jane Eyre follows the emotions and experiences of eponymous Jane Eyre, her growth to adulthood, and her love for Mr. Rochester, the byronic master of Thornfield Hall. The novel contains elements of social criticism, with a strong sense of morality at its core, but is nonetheless a novel many consider ahead of its time given the individualistic character of Jane and the novel's exploration of sexuality, religion, and proto-feminism.

I cried, I laughed & I smiled till my face hurt
Revisado: 05-24-18
What a beautiful story. The Heartbreaks, the happiness, the sadness, the loneliness, Ohh the emotional rollercoaster was deliciously blissful. Jane Eyre is everything I want to be when I grow up (I'm 35, lol). So smart and courageous, I never have had the strength or gumption that Jane has and I always have wished I did. This story was beautiful and the narrator led me through the life of Jane with perfection. I cried, I laughed, and I smiled till my face hurt.
Such a timeless classic, I daydream thinking about all the little girls who have clinched onto this book so tightly through the century. I was once told every woman should read this book at some point in her lifetime and I'll be honest I was somewhat skeptical. I feel like waiting so long has deprived me of a sense of wonderlust I could have had years and years ago. Don't rob yourself of this magic like I did. Buy it now and listen to is next. You won't regret it!

Uncle Tom's Cabin was the best-selling novel of the 19th century and the second best-selling book of that century, following the Bible. It is credited with helping fuel the abolitionist cause in the 1850s. In 1855, three years after it was published, it was called "the most popular novel of our day." A thrilling and important piece of American literature!

Revisado: 05-24-18
I loved this book!!! Love love loved it. I have listened to about 50 titles on Audible and this one was my favorite by far. Stoew wrote a beautiful story and Mary Sarah delivered it wonderfully.
The history behind the story was heartwrenching and mesmerizing. I'm honestly a little sad the book ended so soon. A century and a half have gone by and time has ruined the reputation of Uncle Tom. When I hear people call others "Uncle Tom" in a derogatory way, I know they haven't gifted themselves this story. Uncle Tom was a hero and if anybody called me an "Uncle Tom", I would proudly say thank you.
Listen to this book! Let your children listen to this book! Share it with others. The life lessons that can be learned from this book are immeasurable.
You will not regret this purchase, I can guarantee you that.

Audible illustrations striked curiosity & wonder
Revisado: 05-24-18
Really good book. Well written and it definitely struck the curiosity side of my brain. Imagining the world in a dystopian way is always intriguing. This book gives you an idea of what could happen if you let things get out of hand without speaking up and resisting. This short little story will be one you don't forget. It will haunt you in a good way, remind what is important and what is worth standing up for.
A must-read for all collectors.

Revisado: 05-24-18
I could hardly stop listening, I listened to the whole thing in just two days. The narrators did a phenomenal job, it was perfectly produced for radio. I wish all books were narrated like this one was. The sounds effects were great, it felt like it was recorded on the train. The story almost goes without mentioning, Agatha Christie is great and a wonderful story was what I expected and what I received. This book will be one I go back to again and again on long car rides with the family.

Meh...written for young readers
Revisado: 05-24-18
I was hoping to learn some answers from this book, but I really didn't learn much. The author/narrator seemed to drag on and on. His life stories were funny, but they were long and a bit monotonous. It probably should have been more of a memoir than a book for learning new skills.
The summary made it sound like there was going to be a "light at the end of the book tunnel" but there really wasn't. All of the 'essential questions' are what a responsible adult should already be asking themselves. I could see this being useful to a naive and selfish young adult, but not so much for a grown adult who has already been around the block a time or two.

Touching/entertaining set of intertwining stories
Revisado: 04-26-18
Would you listen to Olive Kitteridge again? Why?
I believe I would. The story wasn't an overwhelming load of excitement, but a nice slow paced realistic view on life.I felt like this could be stories about all the people i meet on a daily basis; People on the bus, and people at the store. I think it would be relaxing to listen to it again. Good for a day rainy day read.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I really enjoyed Olive's husband Henry. He was so sweet and understanding. He went with the ebb and flow of life with ease. I aim to be as stoic as Henry one day.
Which character – as performed by Sandra Burr – was your favorite?
I believe she produced a great deal of Olive's character with ease. We all have a lot of inner Olive in us, behind our make up and heels.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I felt a great amount of empathy when I read this book. It was excellent how the author described a little town through the eyes of its many inhabitants. I often think about how important my life is and the next person's life is just as important to them. It is an interesting and thought-provoking exercise. This book describes that well. The importance of everyone and how in one town we can all use the same pharmacy and have the same pharmacist, go to the same Dunken Doughnuts and drink our coffee all in individual ways. The author very eloquently described the wonder and simpleness of daily life for average people.
