I appreciate the techniques shared in this book

I really appreciate the techniques that were shared in this book. I feel like I received keys to a vehicle and now it's up to me to drive it and choose where I want to take my life. This book dovetails with other things I've read, presenting options at a different angle to create a structural support system for success. I really appreciate the author sharing these strategies, and narrating them himself.

The narrator's voice is suited to bedtime stories for children, not business advice. I had a hard time focusing on the content of the book her voice was so soft and saccharine. I just couldn't take the book seriously.

During the following days, they destroyed hundreds of farms, killed at least 140 men, women, and children, and took about 40 captives. So began the Tuscarora War, North Carolina's bloodiest colonial war and surely one of its most brutal.

The author balanced and illustrated complex, multifaceted characters and subjects with insight and skill. The narration was smooth, fluid, and really engaging. I have a lot of colonial North Carolina ancestors and I'm also distantly related to DeGraffenreid, so it was very interesting for me to understand the circumstances and many factors in play during this time. Thanks! Really well done.

I gave up on this book. Without an accompanying PDF my mind wanders whenever it cross-references a diagram that should have been included, but wasn't. If I can't even get into the audiobook I have NO DESIRE to spend more money on what seems to be basically a book about self-glorification and how great the authors think they are. But I can't see it, so I'm returning it.

I absolutely loved this. I’m not ashamed to admit that I gripped my steering wheel and cried at times. My job is safe and climate controlled. I take my freedom for granted. Im so grateful for the men (and women) who make it possible for me to even worry about getting the best out of my team and I’m grateful for these lessons shared with us to help us apply even, in small part, the greatness inherent in those willing to sacrifice their comfort and safety for us.

I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It could easily have been a boring history lecture but instead it was highly engaging, thought- (and emotion!) provoking, and insightful. The case studies illustrate clearly how failures in planning, leadership, execution, and adaptation can have dire consequences.
