I'm sorry but the guy sounds gay and this isn't that type of book. this is a m/f book and they should have picked a different male to read or perhaps host fake Italian just comes off wrong. Either way he doesn't sound masculine.

I just couldn't like Elizabeth. she's just very unworthy of the H. She whines all the time about what a horrible person she is and frankly I just felt like agreeing with her. I liked her in the other books but after reading this I changed my mind. Nico is way too good for her. She is so immature and just yuck!

well written but the guy is basically the girl in this story. I finished this story barely. They waited until the last 20 min to talk about "toxic masculinity " . if I had know this was such an anti male story I would have passed. It really wasn't a romantic story to me bc the guy is just not masculine at all. I gave 3 stars because the writing was good and performance excellent. character was like 1 star. The girl is super tough. she deserves a strong guy. Instead the hero won't even empty a mousetrap and literally can't screw in a light bulb.

way too much detail. Also, there is an unrealistic habit of stopping in middle of battle to discuss things. Why doesn't anyone attack ? I picture everyone in battle frozen while the characters discuss things. it's ridiculous.

so the heroine seems strong at beginning. she is willing to go against her ultra religious family to be friends with people her family doesn't approve of and do things her family disapproves of. Later she turns into this horrible pathetic person who as soon as she leaves home marries a loser who treats her poorly etc. It was like 2 different people. She abandoned her family a beloved sister after her sister becomes paralyzed. She just turns into such a loser. its not about making mistakes its about not being the person we thought she was. About being someone pathetic and stupid when we thought she was strong and intelligent.

so much potential. great story idea poorly executed. If he was so smart to be this great arms dealer then no way he would have believed the coincidence of their 2nd meeting. she sucked as a spy. Also, there was no relationship development. It was like insta love from a guy who was supposed to be so tough and smart. This could be an amazing story if a different author told it.
