Great book, terrible narrator

I love the book and really wanted to have it in audio format, but I was terribly disappointed by the slow, lifeless and pompous reading - the power of the words does come through - but such a shame that a great book can be so diminished by poor reading.

It is not often that something that makes you laugh out loud also makes you think. I am not sure whether I agree with it all, but I am very glad I listened.
