What's with the Colonel Sanders voice?

So here is my question why is it if the male lead is suppose to have grown up on the Virginia his whole life and has a physical therapy practice in Texas. Then why are the narrators giving him a Pre-Civil War down south accent. Last I check the story isn't about Colonel Sanders and his love of finger-licking good chicken.

great book could get past the mistakes.

I loved the book and most definitely the performances as a whole. But the Kansas City is always in Kansas mentality and chalking it up to a small town rubbed me the wrong way. especially since I live in KCMo. and the author's misspelling of a prominent family in the book that she based her spin off of (it's Truitt not Pruitt). I was screaming at my car when both KC & Pruitt were talked about.

Couldn't handle the story line errors. If London is 10 years older then her brother then how is she 33 when he just turned 25?! And very rarely do they use curtains at shows. Especially not every show.

Conflicted with the story.

I was so excited to have a story with a sexually confident woman. But it drove me crazy that they took that women and they made a rope a vindictive shrew in the book. This was a major hangup about the story for me, well Deila too. Otherwise it was pretty good.
