Interesting because it comes to more than one conclusion

I enjoyed this because it starts with a mystery that then leads to an examination of what the word psychopath infers…and then digs further into the descriptions; misunderstandings; jumps to conclusion; possible over-medication of some; while confirming that there are violent psychopaths (the existence of which), influences how non-violent offenders are also hospitalized. Really interesting and not a one-sided examination.

Completely unique story & John Lithgow is perfect

I only picked this because it was authored by Amor Towles...and it was a good choice. John Lithgow is perfect and the story is unusual and fun. Great way to spend a couple of hours!

Ms. Caruso translates Joan's emotions perfectly.

There are a few (small) parts where the weight of the subject matter starts to become too much...but the recounting of a naturally stoic person's real struggle with grief...and the accompanying doubts and idiosyncrasies that many humans (even those who are not famous writers or married to another famous writer) can recognize, is masterfully narrated in a way that perfectly translates the author's "voice".

Hilarious and Natasha Lyonne was perfect

Really hilarious and clever story that you will appreciate more if you were actually around in the 60s so you can catch all of the many funny references. Wild and irreverent, it was great and Natasha Lyonne was the perfect Nancy!

The performance and pace of the story is fine...but it's pretty predictable from the beginning...and the danger the protagonist
faces near the end wouldn't get the bad guy/girl off the hook anyway... Thankfully, it is a pretty quick listen and at least moves forward quickly...and is a short listen.

This is perfectly set up in ½ hour segments…so you have enough information about the subject of the chapter and can easily pick it up again. Narrator is enthusiastic and makes it interesting.

I have not read many things on Egypt, so found this to be very interesting and informative. The narration was really good, bringing me along in the story and keeping my interest as it went through the six women’s stories.

Have not really had a deep interest in Roman history before, and found this full of fascinating details, stories and insight into what we assume about Rome and Roman citizens. Really interesting book with a great narrator.

I had no idea I would love this as much as I did. Filled with wonderful characters; great insight into life in Russia during the period; and so many themes woven throughout, this was a total joy to hear. Great narration that enhanced a great novel.
