I tried so hard to find something to redeem this story...
Revisado: 02-09-20
If nothing else, it does get my ire up. Reading the reviews was more interesting!! I was screaming at Jory “don’t do it” each time that cop kept coming back. He was a cool guy but just turned into jello with this cop (melted jello) ! I’m going back to the middle ages and my strong brave knights. Just had to stop at chapter 21. I don’t think I’ll lose any sleep (

Frustratingly juvenile...
Revisado: 09-05-19
I tried to give this book a chance to redeem itself but it never happened. The story was weak. The characters had no personality. Made it past the first 5 chapters.... had to stop or throw my phone against the wall ! The narrator did a good job with such a poor storyline... poor lady

Love her books.....her style is wonderful. Love the introduction of Horace the dog (always good for an unexpected chuckle). Would love a follow up or second book as I loved all the characters. Jilly does her best with so many characters but some are hard on the ears

Mixed feelings
Revisado: 02-11-19
I’m a fan of this author but this left me disappointed. Storyline was not close to believable. Ending was too abrupt and Lee’s narration of the strong characters were too heavy. Still, it does keep you on the edge of your seat. 50/50 on this one.

Historia
A place you will never forget. Rosamunde Pilcher's Scotland...where the fields flourish with greenery, the bills bloom with purple, and the lochs glitter with the bright blue of the sky. A time you will never forget. September...when the heather is in full flower, the first chill of autumn cools the air, and the countryside stirs with the hunt, balls, dinner parties, and dance. Rosamunde Pilcher's September...a story of homecomings and heartbreaks, friendships, betrayals, forgiveness, and love.
