Drafted by the NHL at 18, Jordan Garrison was headed for fame, and there was only one person he wanted to share it with - Jessie Caplan. He was crazy in love with her and had finally told her so. They shared an amazing night...and then everything fell apart. Jessie tries not to think about the night she gave herself to Jordan - or how he broke her heart. She tries not to think about it, but she does. Especially now, when she's staring into his sky-blue eyes for the first time in six years.

Back and forth love story
Revisado: 05-01-25
This book had so much back and forth with the characters. They just needed to actually communicate with each other. I feel like the character growth felt fake and forced because they just kept making the same assumptions and stupid mistakes over and over until suddenly they didn’t. Also the narrators sound like 40 year olds talking for 20 something’s. It just didn’t fit. I finished it but I’m not sure I will read anymore from this author.

Liv’s happy with life in her thirties. She has two cats, one BFF, and no boyfriend, which is just how she likes it. Plus, she loves working at a not-for-profit software company where she can be her authentically autistic self. This is her happy ever after. But when her beloved firm merges with a repulsive rival, Liv finds herself competing with her sort-of-ex for the top job. Sure, Finn had been Liv’s best friend, with his nerdy good looks and their shared love of Tolkien, but there was that one night, their song, and … well, she doesn’t like to talk about it.

Such a great story
Revisado: 04-30-25
I loved this book. The narration is great and story line is perfect. I’m now going to search for other books by the author. I especially love how the author writes ASD into the characters but shows how successful someone can be in life with autism. There is such a wide range of neurodiverse people. I’m loving that books are showing this.

Fun mystery
Revisado: 03-15-25
I enjoy Ally Carter so much. This book is no exception. Cute love story and fun mystery. It is set at Christmas but honestly it’s not a Christmas story. Worth the listen and the audio is great.

Historia
I've heard a lot of things about Weston Cole. Popular. Conceited. Supercilious. He's spent the last three years steadily dismantling my family's legacy. I should hate him. And I did. Until I encountered him freshman year and discovered he's also troubled. Captivating. Audacious. And when I come across him again senior year, it turns out that knowledge is even more dangerous than his suggestive smirk....

Cute story
Revisado: 02-24-25
This is a cute love story. Kept me interested the entire way through. There was some growth in the main characters. Nothing big but enough to be believable and keep it pretty light hearted.

Historia
When former con artist Eleanor Ames's homecoming date commits suicide, she's positive there's something more going on. The more questions she asks, though, the more she crosses paths with Miles Beckett. He's sexy, mysterious, arrogant...and he's asking all the same questions. Eleanor might not trust him—she doesn't even like him—but they can't keep their hands off of each other. Fighting the infuriating attraction is almost as hard as ignoring the fact that Miles isn't telling her the truth...and that there's a good chance he thinks she's the killer.

Good book
Revisado: 02-17-25
I really enjoyed this book. I love spy books but this comes from the perspective of a criminal mind and I’m here for it.
I’ve listed to three Julie Cross books and enjoyed them all. She’s a good writer.

Just okay
Revisado: 01-04-25
This book was okay. It doesn’t make any sense that fraternal twins look so much alike. It kinda ruins the whole story since it isn’t believable. But the story was okay and I like to listen the way through books.

Strange
Revisado: 12-21-24
The performance was great. However they just leave you hanging. There is no conclusion to this story at all. I think it was meant to be artistic but it just fell flat.
I was invested and wanted to know what happens to the mom and the child. I could relate as a nurse. But it’s just like they ended it in the middle of a story and it ruined the entire thing. I don’t expect a happy ending, but I did think there would be some type of conclusion. We don’t even know how she resolves her emotions with the current crisis. Maybe that’s because having a child like Alex is never ending until he dies, but at least state that somehow rather than just ending.

Please be careful. Please be happy. And please forget all about me. It’ll be better for everyone that way. Those were the last words Keefe Sencen wrote to Sophie Foster before he ran away to the Forbidden Cities. He didn’t want to leave, but it was the only way to keep his friends safe while he figured out how to control his scary new powers and searched for answers about his past. What he found was so much more than adventures in Humanland.

Typical Keeper book
Revisado: 12-06-24
This is a typical keeper book where so much happens but we still feel like no questions were answered. Which isn’t really true because we do get some answers in this book.
I love these books and I am dying to understand it all someday when Shannon reveals it to us, but it’s been a long series of waiting!
I enjoyed hearing Keefe’s adventures and was especially happy with one of the big reveals. I always love redemption stories. But I won’t say more because I don’t want to spoil anything.
The narrator did a great job as well.
It was nice have something while waiting for book 10.

I’m a big girl, “plus-sized”, whatever. I’m sick of hearing about it, especially since my doctor diagnosed me with PCOS. So when mean girl Merritt shot her mouth off about how fat people should just lose weight, I couldn’t take it anymore. And now I’ve got a huge problem. To prove curvy girls like me can get happily-ever-afters too, I have to get our school’s quarterback, Beckett Langley, to take me to homecoming. And he doesn’t know I even exist. But it’s not hopeless. Four other girls just like me are willing to help, because enough is enough.

Relatable
Revisado: 12-01-24
I wasn’t crazy about the narrator however, this book was a clean and cute read. For any girl who felt less than at any point due to her size this will hit home. I thought the inner monologue of the main character was spot on for things I’ve thought myself.
It sucks not being a size 6 or below in high school, but reality is that a lot of girls aren’t that small. So, we should learn to love ourselves and know we are worthy of love.
I will recommend this book to all the YA readers I know.
A few parts were a bit much for me, a little Harmark movie-ish, but overall I enjoyed it. I’m not sure if I would have felt that way with a different narrator. I didn’t care for her performance.
