Historia
Hollywood has come to the scenic Smoky Mountain community of Hanover County, and dog-trainer Raine Stockton can’t resist the opportunity when her dogs are offered a chance at a role in the film. Filmmaking turns out not to be as exciting as Raine had expected, and the only upside to the long, mostly boring days is the new friend she makes on the set, a stuntwoman by the name of Dallas McKenzie. But it doesn’t take Raine long to discover Dallas is a woman of secrets and lies, and trouble seems to follow her wherever she goes.

I really liked the ending because they wrapped up all the lose ends
Revisado: 08-05-24
I really liked the ending because they wrap[ed up all the loose ends. I wasn’t fond of the many side stories that existed, I would have preferred just keeping to the main theme, however-I really enjoyed the “side story” about dog training, I found that very informative and interesting.

Just not my interest.
Revisado: 07-29-24
I did not enjoy this book because it is not of my interest subject. It was cute and sometimes funny, but I am more of a mystery reader . This would certainly be of interest to many others who like a nice, funny and informative book like this. I don’t know why such a long review is required when I really don’t have that much to say about this nice book- just not for me-Jeeves!

Historia
It starts with the body of a Hollywood producer in the trunk of a Rolls-Royce, shot twice in the head at close range - what looks like "trunk music", a Mafia hit. But the LAPD's organized crime unit is curiously uninterested, and when Harry follows a trail of gambling debts to Las Vegas, the case suddenly becomes more complex - and much more personal.

Historia
Despite being hailed as one of the best guitarists of his era, George Harrison, particularly in his early decades, battled feelings of inferiority. He was often the butt of jokes from his bandmates owing to his lower-class background and, typically, was allowed to contribute only one or two songs per Beatles album out of the dozens he wrote.

What an achievement the Beatles made/so young,so determined,so far reaching.
Revisado: 11-01-23
I liked that the writer spent time on each of the Beatles, the group and ;of course on George-certainly the most egmatic.the Narrator has a great voice very easy to listen to. Certainly the “music mogals “ came off as the biggest deceiving crooks/not all, but- so so many. Also a reminder how dangerous and addictive drugs are/ and so many deaths related to drugs and alcohol.

A big celebration is in the works, but Allan really isn't interested (and he'd like a bit more control over his vodka consumption). So he decides to escape.
