Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

Push your limits
Revisado: 12-30-22
Amazing story of a great American who defines himself as the sum of his obstacles, successes, talent, and hard work. A great read or listen for anyone at any time, but especially for someone facing a difficult challenge in life just as a reminder that this will harden, your mind and soul, and make you a better person. Goggins reminds us to push us beyond the limits we think we have. Have that “can’t hurt me mentality”. Goggins speaks of the reality of his life so be forewarned don’t listen to this in the car with your kids. The story isn’t the same with G rated language. Can’t wait to read the next one
Just a quick comment on the technology. Been using Kindle for a long time, but still pretty new to Audible. This is my first kindle with audible reading bundle. I like listening to it in the kindle app so it’s easier to highlight things I want to bookmark. I wish the bookmarks/highlights synced on kindle and audible but they don’t. Find that odd so not sure if it’s this book or they’re all that way. Also, David and Adam discuss how essentially this audio book was built from a podcast of Adam, essentially reading David’s book over a few days. That’s fine. But there’s dialogue between Adam and David that is awesome that I wish we could get transcripted text within the Kindle version but we don’t.
Not to take away anything from this story since it is great and I highly recommend
