Historia
Will to Wild is an instruction manual to adventure. Your guide: enthusiastic outdoorswoman Shelby Stanger. Shelby has been teaching folks how to leap into the unknown since she taught her first surf class over twenty years ago. Over the years, she watched many of her students quit their jobs, end dysfunctional relationships, and move across the country for a healthier work-life balance—all after spending a bit of time in nature. Shelby marveled at the phenomenon. Being outside was changing the lives of her students, her peers, and herself.

I'm gonna go
Revisado: 10-06-23
I had a baby this year and had a longer recovery. This book comes at the perfect time for me as I'm getting back on my feet and am so ready to be active and outdoors again, meet new people, and live with intention. Loved the positive vibes, inspiration, and humor, especially the Tofino story hehe.

Helped me persist in my practice
Revisado: 08-08-20
I had the opportunity to participate in a mindfulness class offered by Dr. Muesse for Emory and CDC employees last year. This book has been on my list since then. Each chapter spoke to me, especially the chapter on perfectionism, and I greatly appreciate the care and clarity that he put into these teachings and stories. It is clear that he draws on insights gained through his own time spent practicing mindfulness. It encourages me to do the same.
