Good Listen
Revisado: 01-19-23
The narration was great. Wish the author had checked his first book and gotten all the names right: Vern (Nate), Polly (Ellie) and Billy (Jimmy). Everyone else had the same names from the first book, sure wish the three above did too. The book was very good otherwise.

Loved the story
Revisado: 03-30-22
Loved the story and loved that it had both male and female narration but the emotion in the narration just wasn't quite there. I had a hard time picturing Eli as a nine year old boy the way the voice was done for him. Plus the voices during the intimate scences weren't really all that intimate. Overall though I really did like how the narration was done with the man doing the male voice and the woman doing the female voice.

Josephine Nordegren is one of three sisters who grew up nearly wild in southwestern Colorado. She has the archery skills of Robin Hood and the curiosity of the Little Mermaid, fascinated by but locked away from the forbidden outside world - a world she's been raised to believe killed her parents. When David Warden, a rancher, brings in a herd much too close to the girls' secret home, her older sister especially is frightened, but Jo is too interested to stay away.

Enjoyable Book
Revisado: 04-08-20
I love this author's books but the narrator was a bit annoying. She did well except for Dave and Jo's voices. Dave sounded like a woman while Jo sounded like a man. This definitely distracted from the overall listening.

March On
Revisado: 05-07-19
I almost didn't listen to this book because of the bad reviews. Yes some of the characters acted out of character for them and at times I wondered where the story was going, there were so many twists and turns. But overall it all came together in the end. Was this my favorite book of the series? The answer would be no. Am I glad that I listened to it? Yes. Once again the narrator has done an excellent job of bringing all the characters to life. I gave the book a 5 star rating, not because of the story itself (although it is enjoyable) but because of the excellent narration of the story.

April's Rain

Once again the narrator has brought each character to life. It is just like watching a movie the way the images of what is being protrayed play through your mind. This is an author that I had not ever read before, but I must say that the stories are brilliantly put together. I have been hooked from the first word in all of them. Now on to the fourth.
