Very important book

I am very glad I read this book!! I knew orca captivity wasn't in the whales' best interest, but I appreciated the high degree of detail about exactly what the issues are at Sea World. It was a very eye opening book!
My only complaint was that I felt that too much time was spent talking about the lengths he had to go to get his job as an orca trainer and how honored he was to be part of the "very exclusive club," which was emphasized a ton and was hard for the listener to relate to and be patient with.
I still definitely recommend reading though!

Hard book to review

This book is heartbreaking, hilarious, enigmatic, and rings true in so many ways. I HIGHLY recommend!
Unfortunately, in the audio book you miss some things that the print book offers, such as pictures, stylistic editing, etc. The vocal performances have something unique to offer too, and I almost wish I had listened and read simultaneously in order to get the best of both.

Beautifully read, the voices were amazing! The story was romantic and tragic, but not in a way that brings you down. It wasn't particularly suspenseful or exciting, but that wasn't was I was looking for anyway. A lovely read.
