Historia
Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy is one of the cruelest forms of child abuse imaginable. It is very difficult to prove and even harder to prosecute. This story chronicles a woman's journey as she discovers that her two grandchildren are victims of this abuse that most people have never even heard of. Her faith in God kept her going as she turned their tragedies and trials into triumph. Follow her journey of faith as she fights to rescue, protect, and bring healing to her grandchildren's broken spirits and shattered little souls.

such a heartfelt story to listen to

I was abandoned by my own mother and my grandmother stepped up to be the mother that I never had. I felt so related to Arianna as I did once asked if I could call my grandmother “mama”. It hits so close to home to hear about the story and I honestly cannot thank you Tammy enough for providing the children a loving family.

Historia
On May 31, 2014, in the Milwaukee suburb of Waukesha, Wisconsin, two 12-year-old girls attempted to stab their classmate to death. Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier’s violence was extreme, but what seemed even more frightening was that they committed their crime under the influence of a figure born by the internet: the so-called “Slenderman”. Yet the even more urgent aspect of the story, that the children involved suffered from undiagnosed mental illnesses, often went overlooked in coverage of the case.

The author is wayyyyyyyy too biased
Revisado: 06-06-23
I understand how mental illness played a big part in the case, but the author gives me an impression of siding with the perpetrators wayyyyyy too much. much like the justice system doesn't favor victims, it feels to me that the author is trying way too hard to make the readers feel sorry for the girls and pretty much downplayed the severity of the case. That kind of backfired. In my case when I was listening to it, I don't feel sorry for the girls at all.
I hope the author could've give more attention to the survivor of this horrific crime. This has been so unfair for her. She had to came out of this horrific tragedy with lifelong scars and very very expensive medical bills. It's just not fair.
