Liane Moriarty has a lot of characters in her books. I easily put them all in order in my head. This was going to be a light listen but turned into some thought-provoking sessions about, "What would I do?" Especially loved the Epilogue!

Not up to par with other books by this author. I really dislike even a narrator tries to "play" every character. Just read the book.

Real life

Often couldn't hear anything that was recorded over the phone. Had to rewind a lot. I also wish they would have given a theory. Didn't learn anymore at the end than I did at the beginning.

She's even better than I thought!

I thought this was well written and was grateful she narrated. She is engaged even higher in my eyes! Now that I know her, we can be friends! Secretly, I wish she had a gathering of women who have walked through the fire!

Reading the series!

Unfortunately, Audible recommended Book 2 which I didn't know was part of the series. I listened to it first then had to go back to the beginning. Both books were outstanding so I just bought 3 & 4 in the four book series. What I like is that there are some things you can try to guess but there are other details not revealed until the end. That keeps me engaged. I find myself rewinding to listen again if I didn't get a detail because I don't want to miss anything. I wish I would have heard Book 1 first bc a few relationships would have made more sense in Book 2; HOWEVER, nothing was ruined by listening out of order.

The characters are likable, believable and relatable. I sometimes have to overlook narrators but these narrators are spot on. Loved the first two in the series!

Heart-wrenching, Loving story

This seems so timely these days. Loved the mixed of a human story mixed with black and white science. Living, dying, friendships, loves, families. A great break from my usual mystery!

This book started flowing immediately! I will find other books by this author. The narrator has a very aloof sound that annoys me. It is like a Gen Xer whining all the time about having to wake up to go to school or work. She does a great job with different voices for different characters - although every character sounds aloof! The story pulls this mystery together even through the last sentence!
