Great Read

Great listen! I wish we had gotten more time with the prince and our heroine! I am excited to read the next book and see how it all concludes. I loved the world building, mythology and the dragons. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre.

Historia
Aza Holmes never intended to pursue the disappearance of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett, but there’s a hundred-thousand-dollar reward at stake and her Best and Most Fearless Friend, Daisy, is eager to investigate. So together, they navigate the short distance and broad divides that separate them from Pickett’s son Davis. Aza is trying. She is trying to be a good daughter, a good friend, a good student, and maybe even a good detective, while also living within the ever-tightening spiral of her own thoughts.

As someone with OCD, anxiety and intrusive thoughts I loved this book
Revisado: 09-06-22
Really my only critique about this book is that I wish we got to see more into the different types of intrusive and ocd thoughts. Wanting to be clean leans more into the stereotype and while plenty of people suffer with that— there are a lot of us who suffer with other kinds of OCD. And I honestly wish the book was longer and that we got to actually see Aza recover. Other than that I really liked the book and if you know someone suffering this book might be comforting to them and it might give you insight into what it is like being in their brain.
