Historia
In "Center of the Universe", God struggles to balance the demands of his career with the needs of his long-term girlfriend. In "Magical Mr. Goat", a young girl's imaginary friend yearns to become more than friends. In "Unprotected", an unused prophylactic recalls his years spent trapped inside a teen boy's wallet. The stories in Simon Rich's new audiobook are bizarre, funny, and yet...relatable. Rich explores love's many complications--losing it, finding it, breaking it, and making it--and turns the ordinary into the absurd.

Hysterical; incredibly clever

I loved every story and can’t wait to see the play on Broadway - with John Mulaney!

Historia
Charlie Hudson, an autistic 17-year-old, is determined to leave Sawyer, PA, as soon as she graduates high school - in the meantime, she works as many hours as she can at a sandwich shop called The Triple S to save money for college. But when shop owner Clay Cooper - a man who is both respected and feared by many in this economically depressed community - is found dead, each member of his staff becomes a suspect in the perplexing case. Charlie must work to protect herself and her friends, and uncover the danger that may still be at large in their tightknit community.

Loved the story; not sure about the narration

This was a really well written and clever book, but the interjections of new voices acting out scenes seemed out of place. while it was better than having women do poor imitations of men and vice a versa, this sounded kind of hokey and took away from the book some. Still I’m hoping this author writes more mysteries because it was great book to read and A really sensitive and unusually positive depiction of autism.
