An eerie voice interrupts Christian's ordinary life, haunting him at every turn. In a matter of days, the menacing voices and shadowy shapes become the least of his troubles. Christian decides he must face his foes or live forever in fear. In doing so, a mysterious force drags him into a strange and unfamiliar land where the unnatural terrors are somehow perfectly catered to torment him. Perfect adventure for children
Revisado: 04-19-19
Recommended if you like fantastical adventuress & to want to be immersed in a Unique world. And if you want to embark on A magical quest about a young boy who must face his fears & learn to trust as he grows up.
This book is similar to the classic a wrinkle in time.
The characters are likable & realistic & the villains aren’t too scary for kids.
This Adventure is full of heartfelt emotions, but it is over explained at times ( It is a books for children after all).
The pace is a little bit slow, ( as no one ever explains what is really going on until the end) but the world building is imaginative, enchanting & worth the read. My niece is looking forward to the sequel!
