Historia
“Homecoming” takes us back to Ford County, the fictional setting of many of John Grisham’s unforgettable stories. Jake Brigance is back, but he’s not in the courtroom. He’s called upon to help an old friend, Mack Stafford, a former lawyer in Clanton, who three years earlier became a local legend when he stole money from his clients, divorced his wife, filed for bankruptcy, and left his family in the middle of the night, never to be heard from again—until now. Now Mack is back, and he’s leaning on his old pals, Jake and Harry Rex, to help him return. His homecoming does not go as planned.

Good Reed

I like Novelas they are shorter and easier to read and especially when they come in a package of three. If you like Grisham this is the perfect package of pleasure for you!

Historia
Haller is a Lincoln Lawyer, a criminal defense pro who operates out of the backseat of his Lincoln Town Car, to defend clients at the bottom of the legal food chain. It's no wonder that he is despised by cops, prosecutors, and even some of his own clients. But an investigator is murdered for getting too close to the truth and Haller quickly discovers that his search for innocence has taken him face to face with a kind of evil as pure as a flame.

Revisado: 04-18-22
Take an adventure back in time to the 1940s radio classic the great Gildersleeve. Listen to two shows one pre-World War II and the second post World War II. Before television pictures the only home entertainment wha’s the radio where you not only had to tell a story but you also had to paint a picture in your mind.

Historia
At the tender age of two, baseball prodigy Christian Haupt began sharing vivid memories of being a baseball player in the 1920s and '30s. From riding cross-country on trains to his fierce rivalry with Babe Ruth, Christian described historical facts about the life of American hero and baseball legend Lou Gehrig that he could not have possibly known at the time. Distraught by her son's uncanny revelations, Christian's mother, Cathy, embarked on a sacred journey of discovery.

The Mom Who Knew Too Much
Revisado: 12-22-17
The beginning of the book is about a boy who is believed to be the second coming of Lou Gehrig. As the book progresses it felt like it was about the boy's helicopter mother. Sprinkled with interesting information about Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth's Yankees, Little League Baseball, and the Gehrig Families the reader made the Boy's mother overbearing as everyone's "best friend"! Good beginning, bad conclusions. I would recommend reading not listening to the book! Sorry Nom!

Why we think it’s a great listen: Seabiscuit was a runaway success, and Hillenbrand’s done it again with another true-life account about beating unbelievable odds. On a May afternoon in 1943, an Army Air Forces bomber crashed into the Pacific Ocean and disappeared, leaving only a spray of debris and a slick of oil, gasoline, and blood. Then, on the ocean surface, a face appeared....
