Good series of 3 books for the price of 1 credit - what a bargain. The story was good and narration was top notch. The MC was believable (in the context of a fantasy). There was a progression that kept you glued to each book. I highly recommend this series.

I loved the story. It is well told. However, Virtual Voice was dull and lack personality. The female part was teriible - so monotone and hold no emotion. Frankly, I felt that there was no performance, just reading. Please bring back live actor. I look forward to book 2 without Virtual Voice.

I also look forward to the next book in the Good Guy series. I like the fact that the two series are now intersecting. I have often wondered when that would happen. Well, it finally intersected. I have always been a fan of works by Hawthorne and Knighltly individually. With the two of them together, it is an awesome pair of writers. The MC is very believable, which is rare in any lrpg novel. I loved the idea of the MC and his ladies being a bit vulnerable and yet resilient. Usually, the characters in this kind of novel tend to be too much of a "kick ass" type mainly. It is in here too but with a bit of "humanity" thrown in. Great job. In addition, Performance by Threet and Jordan is superb, as expected. I am looking forward to the next book (?).

I loved book 1 - 3 thus far. Hondo Jinx really know how to come up with something that is quite unique: combining western with fantasy. The MC portrayed a tough cowboy with old virtue and toughness. The narration by both Gold and Connors were superb. I am looking for ward to book 4, which, I believe, will be the conclusion. Can't wait.
