if you liked the previous 2 books you will likely like this one as well. I feel like there was a missed opportunity with the school scene and I'd love a whole section of the book focused on that instead of what we got. this was an entertaining read, though!

This is my first attempt at listening to an 'RTS' type lit book (normally listen to litrpgs). As a fan of Starcraft, I really enjoyed this series. The world-building was done well and I liked the ideas the author put out.
This was also my first experience with the narrator as well, and I ended up really enjoying his performance!
I do think that the 1st chapter took a pretty big suspension of belief to be able to enjoy the story. I would have almost enjoyed it more if it just skipped the earth part.

The performance and story were very compelling. This is a first book in a long time where I couldn't fall asleep at night listening to it as I just kept saying "One more chapter". I'm eagerly awaiting book 2, whenever that comes out!
