In the beginning they were talking about religion and Jesus and I wasn’t really sure. Then I thought to myself, why does epic fantasy have to include magic, nights in shining armor and dragons? If you think about it, they can make Some really good shows from the content in the Bible.
Religion aside, I have to say that this was a really good book! Free or not. If you’re not a religious person or do not believe in any specific religion don’t get thrown off by the very beginning of the book. Knowing what I know now about this book, I would’ve absolutely spent a credit and gave it the same great review.

The last time I listened to the original series (10th X) I thought it can’t be over?? Right.? I’m not going to give anything away, but thanks Joe! Please don’t make us wait like that bloated freak that wrote Game of Unknown ending!
If you’re familiar with the named boys or not this was a masterpiece with Steven Pacey at the helm.

Wow! Best book in this genre in years!

I don’t want to go into all the details but this was the best story and also the best narration I’ve heard in quite some time. I still have about three hours remaining, and even if it took a complete turn for the worst it would still have been the best book that I’ve listen to in sometime. I don’t usually leave reviews but I do have well over 400 books, and the majority of them are in this genre.The only thing bad I can say about this book is that it’s only book one… LOL… Please write another book as soon as possible!

Is it insane that I want to hang out with these guys? I don’t know where to start, so I won’t...lol. All I can say is that Sullivan should be required to just continue writing 24 hours a day, and TGR should have to read it immediately. Almost like a never ending podcast....lol. This way I can come home every day and get my fix.

He brought 5 stars. He made the book as far as I'm concerned.

Could have been a great coming of age story, but there were way too many dead spots for a book so short. I really liked the premise and a few of the characters, but due to the fact that the book was so short there was really no time to develop them.
