There are many books on the subject of productivity full of hacks to help you squeeze more into the time you have. That is not the purpose of this book. Instead of relying on tricks and hacks that may or may not last. Daily Momentum will show you how to almost effortlessly weave a few simple yet powerful activities into your morning and evening that will transform your personal and professional life and help you create the space to shift from good to great.

For when you're ready to start your transformation
Revisado: 03-11-24
From the first word Marianne Emma Jeff spoke, her charming British accent did more than narrate a book; it invited me into a personal conversation about transformation and greatness. "The Daily Momentum Habit" became not just an audiobook for me; it was a masterclass in shifting from hustle to a habit of excellence.
Hearing Marianne's voice added an unmistakable layer of authenticity and inspiration to her message. Her approach to productivity and personal achievement was refreshingly simple yet profound. The concept of the Zone of Greatness was a game-changer for me. This book wasn't about cramming more tasks into my day; it was about creating space for what truly mattered. Marianne’s guidance felt like a gentle nudge toward realizing my potential without the burnout.
The Daily Momentum practice she described was elegantly simple, focusing on morning and evening routines that set the stage for a day filled with achievement, satisfaction, and, most importantly, fun. It testified to the idea that greatness should unfold naturally, not be forced through endless busyness.
Listening to Marianne, I got the sense that greatness wasn't a distant goal but an ACTUAL possibility, right there in front of me, achieved through consistent, mindful actions. Her book offered a simple path to not only increased productivity, but as a result, a more fulfilling life. The blend of personal anecdotes with actionable steps made me feel like I was on the journey with her, ready to embrace my own "Zone of Greatness".
She explains that in a world obsessed with the hustle, "The Daily Momentum Habit" was born. It's your daily habits that make you or break you, after all. Hearing that was a breath of fresh air for me. It reminded me that true success comes NOT from doing more, but from being more. Marianne didn't just write a book, she crafted a lifestyle shift that was inspiring and achievable.
To anyone feeling trapped in the cycle of busyness and burnout, I cannot recommend this audiobook enough. Let Marianne's lovely voice and wise words guide you to a life where every day is a step towards greatness.

Haunting tales of self-reflection
Revisado: 03-21-23
several of these stories were just creepy and unusual in their genre. The first one took place on the Scottish plains and dealt with a supernatural creature who was cursed with eternal life and finally managed to put an end to her endless life that tortured her. ongoing tournament by a demon who was responsible for bizarre immortality. The stories became more mainstream as they went on, but no less engaging. One of my favorite narrators was David Bosco. because of his commitment to the accents and the tone of eriness that the story demanded.
I recommend this book if you're like me and you get in the mood for spooky stories in months other than October and November. sometimes I want to be creeped out in March or July. this is a perfect remedy for those cravings. Each story is unique in its approach and genre and each narrator does an outstanding job embracing the characters and setting.
At times, I got a toilet zone vibe from some of the stories which is my favorite when it comes to horror. To me, there is nothing more horrible than the ordinary turned sideways. I highly recommend this book for its enjoyment and unusual approach. The creep factor is there 100% without resorting to disgusting gore or silly tropes.

amazing story, poor choice of narrator
Revisado: 08-11-22
I think because this book was recorded so long ago, there might not have been the talent pool there is now. But this narrator sounds like he'd be better off doing self-help books. That compassionate, authoritative tone saying, "she noticed his rippling muscles and hardness below" just doesn't cut it. But the story itself was captivating and I want more!

Great story, phenomenal narration
Revisado: 04-15-22
I just finished Honey and Fire. When it was over, I felt like I lost a couple of really close friends. I should mention that I do love vampire romance stories, and when they are executed really well, the way author Amy Buckles managed here, it is a special treat. That's especially true for this book. This is the first book I have ever read of hers.
I have over 1000 books in my library (been a member of audible since 1999). It's not often that an audiobook gets me so emotional that I'm grateful for having to wear a mask at the doctor's office so no one can tell that I have been crying while listening to my audiobook in the waiting room.
This is one of those books that uses the style where it's written in the first person, but changes from the female point of view to the male point of view all through the story. The two narrators take turns guiding the listener through the story.
Both narrators for this book are outstanding. It seemed as though Vi L’Estrange shouldered the burden of about 2/3 of the book's narration, but then again, it started as her story. She did a phenomenal job and she was endearing from the start. There were foreign accents that were handled expertly and with authenticity, especially by Matt Haynes. Lastly, there were some romantic moments read by both narrators that were so good, I bookmarked them so I could go back and listen again. They were just that good.
When I found myself starting to cry, I tried so hard to talk myself out of it. I reminded myself it was just a story, and I knew it wasn't real. I kept telling myself, "Dom, calm down, these narrators are just really great actors. Think about how many times they probably messed up the recording and had to do it over again." Yet no amount of breaking the fourth wall could talk my eyes out of tearing up, or my heart out of aching.
Granted, Amy deserves some of the credit for coming up with the words. But the narrators brought the characters to life throughout the entire book. Vi portrayed Amelia in a way that allowed me to see her blue eyes with crystal clarity, and see the character pregnant, vulnerable and alone. I wanted to be her friend and tell her everything would be okay. Meanwhile, Matt completely embodied Colin and made him charming, handsome, old-fashioned and eccentric. I was able to see him in my mind's eye because of his voice. The two of them put so much of themselves into Amy's writing, and so much of their hearts into this narration, that despite my best efforts to remain stoic, I failed. And I'm glad I failed. It feels good to feel something that strongly.
Now I am hooked on this series, and I'm on pins and needles awaiting the next book. This book ends on an unapologetic cliff-hanger, so if that sort of thing pisses you off, prepare to be pissed. But you know what? You won't be sorry; you'll be dying to know what happens next.
This book is highly recommended if you're not afraid to feel some of your feelings, and cheer on a "one true love" romance story.

Nearly 100 years and still kicking
Revisado: 11-01-21
How cool that a story and heroine whose history dates back nearly 100 years (the first one was published in 1930!). Most people do not realize that. I love the dedication of this bunch and hope that they can make this nearly as long running a podcast as CK and all the ghostwriters that made up that pen name made up Nancy Drew's legacy so far, and made her such a long-lasting and endearing character.

She gives him her card and offers him help, but he tells her doesn't need saving and takes off like his tail is on fire. A couple weeks later, Lou is surprised when the man calls her asking for help of a different kind. A teenage girl he cares about has gone missing in gang territory.

My new favorite author!
Revisado: 09-20-21
Discovering Becky McGraw as an author accidentally is the best thing to happen to my audible account in years. The heroine of this book is 55 years old, about my same age and I can really relate to a new spin on romantic stories like this.
I was so enthralled by the narrator's delivery, I found myself completely lost in the story and I got downright irritated if someone interrupted me to talk while I was listening. Several times this weekend at work while I was cleaning up or taking out the trash, someone would ask me a question, and I'd round on them rather viciously with a "WHAT?!" because it meant I had to stop listening for a few minutes.
Narrator Matt Haynes' delicious voice seduced me for hours when he wasn't making my heart pound with adrenaline during Becky's well-written action scenes. What a pair these two make.
I'm so excited to learn that there are another half a dozen in this series awaiting me.
I highly recommend this book for an intelligent, sweet story of love, healing, risk-taking, redemption and forgiveness.

Sam McIntyre had it all. Brilliant surgical career. Wealth. The begrudging respect of the best in the profession. Everything except someone to share it with. Terri Malone is young, beautiful and a bit naïve. So what if Sam is a little possessive, a little pushy? Sam knows more about the world, about life, than Terri does. Of course Sam is going to make most of the decisions. They look like the kind of couple everybody envies. The big house. The fabulous weekend getaways. As far as anyone knows, everything is perfect. And Sam will do whatever it takes to keep it that way.

Wonderful book. Amazing narrator.
Revisado: 03-14-21
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, but after one minute of listening to the sample, I knew this book was one I was going to love.
The writing is top notch, and kept me up all night listening! The narrator has a fantastic voice and I could visualize everything that was going on.
The story is fun, sexy, dramatic and is a real page turner. It's about a surgeon who falls in love with a much younger woman. I don't want to spoil it because it's a great story.

Well-written mystery, no language or sex
Revisado: 12-23-20
This is an unusual selection for me because I generally prefer the books I read to have both profanity and sex scenes.
But because I have recently become such a fan of the narrator, Matt Haynes, I decided to check this one out since I like mysteries and thrillers in general.
The story pulled me in right away and I found that I didn't miss the profanity and adult scenes nearly as much as I thought I would. Josh Lanyon's writing is stellar. He's funny, clever, and writes with heart. I'm so thrilled to have discovered this duo. Grabbing the next one in the series now!
Highly recommended.

Hidden Gem
Revisado: 12-20-20
This book is a romance novel between two men that gets a little spicy at times, with a paranormal twist. And what a magnificent find. I'm such a picky reader/listener, and I'm thrilled to have discovered this fantastic book.
First of all, I'm a narration snob. If the narrator is not completely committed (and talented), I don't care how great the book is - I'm out. I feel so fortunate to have discovered Matt Haynes as one of my favorite new narrators. He does two different men's voices with enough distinction that there was never any question as to who was speaking.
Second, I'm so excited that Felice Stevens is a great storyteller. There's a level of trust that I need when I listen to a book. I want to know that there will be some humor, natural-sounding dialog and story that makes sense. This book hits every mark.
I should note that I am a straight, married woman and I freaking loved this book. Love is love, and great writing is great writing. I couldn't imagine being such a big fan of LBGT paranormal romance but here I am, owning it. I plan to explore the other works of both this author and this narrator.

Give it time
Revisado: 08-13-20
Give this book time to get under your skin and you will be glad you did. It takes a minute to get a grasp for the world this story takes place in, since it's not the world we are accustomed to.
The narrator had a lot of challenges with how many strange creatures he had to voice! He does an admirable job with each unique voice, and I liked how some voices had special effects. This couldn't have been an easy book to read, but he made it interesting and entertaining.
Whether or not you heard the first one, you can dive right into this and get into the story after only a few chapters. Give it a chance if you like good fantasy stories.
