Good information for the mind, lacks heart connection.
Revisado: 06-04-24
There’s a lot of good and valuable information in this book, but to me it was like a book pulled together from many other good books. Overall, there was nothing new for me that wasn’t in the IFS books I have already read. I also felt like I was being talked at the entire time rather than talked to. Maybe it reads differently as a book. The author is definitely a coach and mind-oriented with many clients and accomplishments(of which we are constantly reminded). If you are new to the facts of trauma, this book will give you that clearly, however, it was hard for my heart to connect with the way the material was presented..and I really wanted it to.

Read and written honestly

The most valuable thing we can offer one another is the honesty of our own story. Thank you Maureen for baring it all.

Fantastic title
Revisado: 01-04-23
Uncle Tom's Cabin is a very important story that is articulated beautifully. It tells not only the horrors of slavery but those who fought to abolish it and why.

Amazing true story; corruption of epic proportions
Revisado: 11-23-21
This is a truly compelling story with a colorful cast of characters. Its structured more like a thriller than a piece of investigative journalism. Dion Graham is fantastic as the narrator. This was already picked up for a TV series with HBO, its definitely worth a listen!
