Historia
When Penny Dahl calls the Finders Keepers detective agency, hoping for help locating her missing daughter, Holly Gibney is reluctant to accept the case. Her partner, Pete, has Covid. Her (very complicated) mother has just passed away. And Holly is meant to be on leave. But something in Penny’s desperate voice makes it impossible to turn her down. Meanwhile, mere blocks from where Bonnie Dahl disappeared live Professors Rodney and Emily Harris. But they are also harboring a shocking, unholy secret.

Holly is my favorite character
Revisado: 09-30-23
Im so glad to have a novel with Holly as the main character. This book is fantastic and so suspenseful. I happen to agree with "Uncle Steve's" politics so I find those parts wildly entertaining. While I'm sure others hate it I think he did a halfway decent job of describing all kinds of people even the ones he doesn't agree with.

Historia
Early in 2004, two writers and Red Sox fans, Stewart O'Nan and Stephen King, decided to chronicle the upcoming season, one of the most hotly anticipated in baseball history. They would sit together at Fenway. They would exchange e-mails. They would write about the games. And, as it happened, they would witness not only the greatest comeback ever in sports, but the first Red Sox championship in 86 years as the team put '86 behind them and eighty-sixed the Curse.

A book about the 2004 Res Sox season
Revisado: 09-17-22
I don't even like sports. Sure I've been to a baseball game here and there and I know how the game is played roughly but generally I dont care. I read this book because Im reading through all of Uncle Steve's books co authored as well, I found it quite intersting and entertaining. I read the whole thing without wishing it was almost over. Sports fans are funny and it's good to know it's all of them pretty much equally who act like they own the team and they can hear them through the TV

Historia
On Halloween night, eight trick-or-treaters gather at the haunted house by the edge of town, ready for adventure. But when something whisks their friend Pip away, only one man, the sinister Carapace Clavicle Moundshroud, can help the boys find him. "If you want to know what Halloween is, or if you simply want an eerie adventure, take this mystery history trip. You couldn't ask for better than master fantasizer Ray Bradbury," raves The Boston Globe.

Historia
The author whose boundless imagination and storytelling powers have redefined the horror genre, from 1974’s Carrie to his new epic Under the Dome, reflects on the very nature of terror—what scares us and why—in films (both cheesy and choice), television and radio, and, of course, the horror novel, past and present.

good review of horror
Revisado: 07-28-22
This book is great. No offense to narrator I wish Stephen King actually read it. The narrator was great but if its an sk non fiction book it needs to be read by the man himself. All of his fiction can br6 read by whomever.
sometimes the book droned on but overall was good and introduced me to new titles I need to check out
