A harsh version of “it’s a wonderful life”

The story was good. The reader wasn’t my favorite. Sounded like a 10 pack a day smoker. Other than that it held my interest but not enough to recommend it to anyone.

First time listener to his early works

As a longtime listener to all his later works even up until his death. I had never listened to his earlier works. I thought this one was so reminiscent of his research and abilities to tell stories.

Beautifully read and written

I’m now a doctor, I should write a book!

Although there a some things in this book worth knowing the general tone turned me off and I couldn’t wait for it to be done. Not until chapter 12 did the authors “research” bring some kids into the mix. It pretty much assumes everyone in today’s world meets people, hooks up, lives together in Quasi commitment relationships and you have a 50%chance of either being or meeting someone stable and if you don’t and didn’t read this book before you were fully committed there is a slim chance for working it out. This book was more how to look for someone confident than how to be the person who is confident and work on the parts of you that aren’t.

This book takes a subject like vulnerability and makes it understandable makes it enjoyable I would recommend this book to anyone who is wanting to be more a part of their own life. The only problem I see with this book is the question of “will I be able to apply it in my own life will I have the bravery to act on the things that I learned listening to the book”

Always wondered how to change my habits

This book gave me a ton of insight into my own brain and the fact that I have choices in what I do. I would highly recommend. The narration is great and the example stories are helpful as they relate to real life.

The authors ability to get to the heart of what love is is the simplicity of this book. The ability to define love in five different types appeals to both male and female alike.

John Lee does a great job narrating this book I thoroughly enjoyed all three books and would highly recommend him just keep in mind there a little bit liberal slanted

Great parody of how we look at life all wrong

I thought it well written and the reader was excellent. Coraline though a little dark was well worth the listen. (What's up with the singing mice?)
