love this whole series!!

I have read or listened to this while series and loved them. I was actually hesitant about this one though. I generally do not like overly cocky heros or books where one is deceiving the other. It causes me too much angst. I didn't want to skip a book though and I'm SO glad I didn't. Feyo has now tied with Theo as my two favorite Hs in this series. I was more forgiving of Vanessa's deception because she had a good reason. Feyo is damaged which made me want to just wrap him up in a huge hug. Can't wait for rhe next one. The narrator for this series is really good too. I listen only to audiobooks when I'm.in the car so I've heard a lot. He is one of the few where I forget it's a man doing a woman's voice.

This is one of my top 5 favorite books. The world building and relationship building are beyond compare. The evolution of the characters is wonderfully written. The narrators are also amazing. I have listened to this story at least 4 times not to mention reading. Listen or read this story. You won't regret it.

epic book

I have read this book twice and listened twice. I still was anxious towards the end even knowing the ending. Draven's characters are amazing and were so easy to fall in love with. The narrator was perfect-cultured voice and easily did male and female characters. This is one of the books I recommend to everyone. It is a slow burn but if you love well developed love stories, you must read or listen to this book.

There are not enough words to say how much I love this amazing retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Benella is a wonderful h. Intelligent, caring (maybe too much sometimes) and down to earth. She is the perfect person to rein in the Beast's selfish, impetuous ways. I have read the books and listened to it on audio twice and I never get tired of it. The narrator is perfect. Her cultured tone is soothing and she perfectly captures the emotions that the characters are experiencing. I consider this a must read book for anyone who loves a good romance. A word of warning- there are some attacks on Benella by others than the H which might be triggering for some people.

so glad I finally got this

I have been going back and forth so long on this story. It would pop up on my feed, I'd reread the blurb and think "Sounds angsty. Not my cup of tea. How can you possibly redeem a horseman of the apocalypse?" I had so many people recommend it to me online but still no. Finally, I had some audible credits and thought "Fine. I'll get it." SO glad I did. It's definitely a slow burn but it had to be. There was so much in the way of our h and H getting together. The author did an amazing job of having them learn about each other and having Pestilence learn about humanity. Honestly, he wasn't wrong about it but there are good people out there. Now it's on to listen to War. If I had one complaint, it would be that I would have liked to know a little more about their life after than what was hinted to in the epilogue. I have to wonder how she explained him to her family. After all, the world knew what he looked like. How do you hide that? Maybe it will be mentioned in the next one.

Worth listening to

I wasn't sure I would like this story since the blurb was kind of vague. I ended up really liking it. I would say it's more of a sci-fi book with a bit of romance. I liked that it wasn't an insta-romance with the h and H learning about each other over time. The storyline was well developed and there was a "zombie apocalypse " feel to part of it. I did think that the "bad guys" were a bit predictable. If you are looking for major "romantic" times between the h and H, this may not be the book for you but it was worth the audible credit to listen to it.

Love this series!!!

I love Amanda Milo's books. I love reading about aliens that look like aliens. Arokh is a combination of tough guy and marshmallow. His devotion to Angie is so sweet. I've read all the books in the series and have all the audio books that are out. As for Nick Cracknell, he could read the dictionary to me and I would happily sit there and listen. He has appropriate intonation and his voice as Angie is not annoying. You can actual forget that he is a man doing a woman's voice.

epic love story

I have read this book twice and listened to the audio book. It is such a well developed story that spans their lifetimes. Ehd is sweet in his absolute devotion to Beh. I guarantee you will be teary eyed at the end. This is such a different love story.
