I'm not saying it's bad just pointless everything that happens in this volume is entirely without overall impact or progression the main conflict happens at the end and comes out of nowhere honestly it feels a little slap together like several novellas carefully edited into one narrative and if that's what he did good job but you could skip this one

I liked the first one a hell of a lot but the pacing in this series has gone to hell I mean I feel like we could cut quite a bit of the main plot out and then there are several bits that you could have pulled out and made a novella or made companion series or spin-off series following that character's Adventures I don't know it's just felt deeply unfocused also the power scaling is a mess all that said I still had a hell of a lot of fun with it

Let Down

this book is by no means terrible it just has a lot of little problems that add if you have a credit and you need something to fill up a long drive here you go

okay so this feels like a potluck of good ideas that didn't really work out the MC a disappointment at no point does this man earn his power it's just handed to him and it's all hand waved Away by saying oh he's like the special it's it's eye rollingly boring the magic system lacks depth and my favorite character is a cameo they bring up religion a lot to the detriment of the story none of these are individual killers to your ability to enjoy the story but it just keeps stacking that when I realized I finished the book my only real thought thank God it only cost me a credit

this is not just bad it's boring and kind of lame it takes Concepts we've seen before and chew them up mashes them together and says tada don't bother also completely separate from the lack of quality the first female character we meet of any importance is so essentially helpless in spite of having parents who are adventurers and comes from a world with monsters that it's shocking do not bother with this one

this was a little unfocused well I am happy to have a new POV character I can't help but feel like this should have been its own separate thing, there should have been either a lot less of Morgan or a lot more of Morgan but swapping back and forth was not the right call. also talk about a an anticlimax legit feels like filler and I'm a little disappointed in the author but not actually bad funny interesting definitely engaging

legitimately surprised with how good this turned out to be the title seems cheesy and I bought it more on a whim I love the concept of ecclesiasm and system of magic used good book ALSO what magic did our Mc choose at the end I think I have a guess but I need to know

OK I LOVE THIS SERIES WAY MORE MORE THEN WHAT EVER NONSENSE CORIN IS IN THE MIDDLE OF!!! this is a very interesting and dynamic and fun adventure that shows a lot of character growth and development. they were at one point at the beginning of the book and at the end of the book they're at a new point in their development fantastic. A thing that has been lacking form the parent series. the world is fantastic the magic system is excellent and the god beasts and their children are so freaking cool. Great Job!!!

nothing kills any sense of tension or stakes like save states, suddenly none of what was happening actually mattered because MC could just ground hog day this whole thing till he got the out come he wanted, lame.

... this jas been my favorite series for a long time. I was worried that the ending wouldn't live up to the hype. I was wrong it was wonderful and funny and heartfelt. read all of these books and Thank you Wil and I'm sorry for the times I complained about cliffhangers
