Historia
All through the town of Pine Deep, people are having their most precious memories stolen. The monster seems to target the lonely, the disenfranchised, the people who need memories to anchor them to this world. Something is out there. Something cruel and evil is feeding on the memories, erasing them from the hearts and minds of people like Patty and Monk and others.

I really want to like Maybery ...
Revisado: 11-12-22
I really loved the Joe Ledger series and I think the Author is a genuine nice guy (twitter) so I was a bit turned off by the obvious political slant his new stuff has taken. My prejudice is that I'm not a Dem or a Rep so I kinda dont appreciate the constant barrage and pay for books as way to escape it. I figured I'd give it another shot with this one. unfortunetly More of the same. The US is so divided at this point, and Maybery just cant seem to help himself. Now he found it important to plug in the tired and one dimensional, politically correct characters we see on every single tv series these days. This one spends so much time on the development of an LGBTQIA relationship I thought I was listening to dime store romance for a while. Maybery now lives in a world where white poor people are racist and evil. Women good, men bad, and those special ops veterans are somehow all left leaning progressives with great kung-fu and weapons skills....
Pro's - As always great narrator. Cons - Please Stop Jonathan; I really want to like and support your stuff...you have the Hollywood virus I think. Stay home, hydrate, try some vitamin C ..start writing good stuff again.

Historia
Terrorists-for-hire have created a weapon that can induce earthquakes and cause dormant volcanoes to erupt. One terrifying side effect of the weapon is that prior to the devastation, the vibrations drive ordinary people to suicide and violence. A wave of madness begins sweeping the country beginning with a mass shooting in Congress. Joe Ledger and his team go on a wild hunt to stop the terrorists and uncover the global superpower secretly funding them. At every step the stakes increase as it becomes clear that the endgame of this campaign of terror is igniting the Yellowstone caldera.

Long time fan.. done
Revisado: 11-22-18
The whole obvious political correlation is tiring & juvenile. Frankly I’m sickened by both right & left at this point & hardly need to hear more in the guise of a supernatural action novel. I’m sad & disappointed

Historia
STOP. You should not have touched this flyer with your bare hands. NO, don't put it down. It's too late. They're watching you. My name is David Wong. My best friend is John. Those names are fake. You might want to change yours. You may not want to know about the things you'll read on these pages, about the sauce, about Korrok, about the invasion, and the future. But it's too late. You touched the book. You're in the game. You're under the eye. The only defense is knowledge. You need to read this book, to the end. Even the part with the bratwurst. Why?
