More Adventure then Romance
Revisado: 02-22-05
If you like detailed descriptions of battles, how to inflict wounds and stories where the hero and heroine spend more time chasing each other than in each others arms than this is the book for you. This story had lots of adventure but not much romance. Destiny needs a good shot of self esteem to help her realize that there were more important things in her lovers life then her!

Historia
Claudine is the prettiest, smartest and wildest girl in her class. A mischievous 15-year-old who delights in rollicking through the dusty corridors of a parochial school in provincial France, Claudine manipulates her less-astute classmates and her feeble-minded professors. This vivid, honest portrait of adolescent life in turn-of-the-century Montigny was shocking to some readers when it first appeared. Today the novel still sparkles with the freshness and edge that excited readers almost 100 years ago.

Less then Erotic
Revisado: 01-27-05
If your definition of erotic includes how 15 year old French girls learn to sew, figure "sums" and trick their teachers, this is the listen for you. However if you are into more lusty and descriptive Victorian prose such as "The Pearl" series, this book will do little more than cure insomnia.

Boring Boring Boring
Revisado: 01-16-05
This was neither clever or erotic. Weak plots and poorly read stories made for a complete waste of time even by British humor standards.

Short, Sweet and Simple
Revisado: 06-05-04
This is classic Sandra Brown, uncomplicated, easy to listen to and romantic. Although there are times times I found myself rolling my eyes at either an unlikely turn of events or a totally unbelieveable response to a question, I liked the book. This book does not have a challenging plot or deep characterization, but it is short, sweet and simple. Enjoy

Historia
A smart, deeply satisfying romantic comedy about a woman's obsession with the return of her fiancé's ex. On the Delta Shuttle between New York and Washington, Elise finds herself sitting next to Donald—tall, with dark wavy hair, a big easy smile. She’s left the world of women's magazines in Manhattan for graduate school in D.C. He’s left investment banking to become a teacher. They are both unattached. They exchange stories. They fall in love. One year later they’re headed for an April wedding. Storybook finish? Not quite.

Annoying, Whiney and Pathetic
Revisado: 06-05-04
What a disappointing book. The characters in this book were predictable and poorly developed and were involved in a plot that went no where fast. This book showed the sterotype women have been fighting to dispell for years. The fight between two women over one man is a poor basis for any story. But if reading about neurotic women that sneak around in the bushes to see what their boyfriends are doing, this is the book for you.

More Murder Mystery Than Romance
Revisado: 06-05-04
This story isn't bad for a murder mystery, however it falls short of being in the romance category. Violence, racial tension, infidelity and family melodramas are prevalent. The "romance" of the story is a mere sub-plot. If you're looking for heart warming connections, keep looking!
