Was interested in this book because Anthony Daniels is the only cast member to appear at every Star Wars movie, so he’s been there and seen it all. Unfortunately, it was disappointing to find that he gave very little insight or depth into the cast, characters in behind the scenes, feel of all of those Star Wars movies. When it even came to his rift between R2-D2 actor, Kenny Baker, he wouldn’t deal into the details. If you’re not gonna delve into the details, why write the book? He gave a little insight into Carrie Fisher, but very little about Harrison Ford or Mark Hamill. Can’t say I learned a lot about Star Wars canon on this one,

What a fantastic book for fans of the blues Brothers, as well as comedians, John Belushi, and Dan Ackroyd. The author takes you inside the making of the film and all of the crazy details about the production, and shares with you the tragic , drug-addled life of a star who was destined to flame out at such a young age.

While I very much enjoyed listening to the author read his book and enjoyed the performance, I just felt the overall story was a bit out of touch unless you are very much into the outskirts of Carmody. That is where Bob Odenkirk has lived much of his career and where he’s happy, and that is what most of the book focuses on. I was not familiar with much of the work he spent a lot of time talking about, and while that was OK, was not overly interesting to me. Like most people I’ve come to know Bob through breaking bad, Better Call Saul and is working from that point. I guess I was a little old for Mr. show. So Bob, I love you, but I guess I just as I am a little more interested in the latter half of your career than the front half.

I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this story, but also the performance and the way it was produced. Weir has devised a fantastic story that reminds you of the Martian, but is original as well. While there are a few lapses in logic around the storytelling and the science, when you take into account of the amount of information that he provides and he keeps the story moving at such a great pace, any of that can and should be forgiven. The way the story is told, the use of sound effects and editing is brilliant, and the performance is fantastic. The story and the production will rocket you across the universe, and will have you sitting in your driveway listening and not wanting to get out of your car.

I was not sure what to expect from this book. But the experiences of the spaceman were very intriguing and his descriptions of seeing the Earth from the space shuttle and his his walking in space and all of that, was awesome.

A decent story but never quite delivers the excitement of traditional Crichton endeavors. the vocal performance is very good but never quite pulls you into the story.

this story was a great disappointment. I'm a big fan of Fargo and expected a story with some great twists and turns. Unfortunately there are very few twists and no real turns. The performance by the reader was excellent might I add. But unfortunately I wouldn't say that this one was worth the time.

I was not quite sure what I was getting myself into, but the story took off right from the start. It reads like a thriller and is an amazingly researched piece of nonfiction that is fascinating from start to finish.

if you are a fan of Breaking Bad and old isenburg himself then you're going to love this book. But you're also going to love it if you're just a fan of acting and like getting insight into the craft and into how a star can truly seem like a good guy and not get too much into himself.

while this will never be confused as being one of grisham's best novels, it is a breezy, light read. something that would be enjoyed on a beach somewhere for a easy read that may not keep the pages turning late at night, but is enjoyable nonetheless. That said, the narration was exquisite. One of the best narrative performances I've heard in a long time. If you're Grisham fan give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
