I enjoyed every minute of this enlightening book.. although my background and politics are totally different , it shows that we can have very opposing perspectives and lives and still love and accept each other .. I am in my 70’s and grew up loving her music from the time I heard “You Don’t Bring me Flowers “ on my car radio ..

Frances has proven to me you can go home again.. remembering a taste ,a smell, a vision,
or just remembering.. I have read all of the Frances Mayes books over the past many years.. I am 73 and enjoyed reading from the age of 12…. Her books have given me the most
insight and memories as well as days of wonderful escape.. Thank you Frances.
