Historia
One hundred thousand years ago, at least six human species inhabited the Earth. Today there is just one. Us. Homo sapiens. How did our species succeed in the battle for dominance? Why did our foraging ancestors come together to create cities and kingdoms? How did we come to believe in gods, nations, and human rights; to trust money, books, and laws; and to be enslaved by bureaucracy, timetables, and consumerism?

One of the best books I will ever read.
Revisado: 02-18-17
What a brilliant look at the history of how homo sapiens came to be. Super interesting throughout - I could not stop reading. I particularly liked the end where the author pontificated on where we might end up as a species.
Very very well done and highly recommended.

I was very skeptical of this book - in particular with the slow start.
But it is a great book for maximizing the potential of your teams. Fantastic leadership book.

Historia
Wallace D. Wattles was an American "New Thought" writer who wrote this amazing little book in 1910. It caused a sensation then, and continues to be popular today. In fact, Rhonda Byrne said that part of her inspriation for her best-selling book and film The Secret came from this book.

Awful
Revisado: 08-08-13
This book is extremely dated and has a extremely flawed premise: God does not want EVERYONE to be rich. It's preposterous on a number of levels.
Couldn't finish the book.

Terrible

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
This book is not what it pretends to be. It's something altogether different and I don't appreciate the lack of transparency.
