Narration: Same narrators as book one. Dual narration. Did a good job of changing voices enough from book one to make unique for these characters

Story: This is book two in the Haven Ever After series and must be read in order. This story focuses on Wren and her mate Ohken. I appreciated how Wren had to work a little harder for control of her magic. It didn’t just happen like it did for Thea. She definitely eventually gets her bad ass witch moment though which was great. The series plot progresses well and leaves you wanting more at the end. Wren and Ohken’s have great chemistry and the spice is off the charts. If you enjoy size difference and ruts this one is for you. I cannot wait to get into book 3!

Narration: This is dual narration so the opposite sex voices are a little goofy but nothing I couldn’t get past. The same sex voices were great though
Story: This is the first book in the Haven After Series and focuses on Thea and Shepherd. There is also going to be an overarching plot through the series and because of that it ends on a cliffhanger. Thea and Shepherd’s relationship develops quickly and the spice starts pretty quickly as well. Shepherd has some enhancements because he is a gargoyle that keeps things interesting. I am jumping into Wren’s book immediately.

Narrator: This is dual narration but the narrators did a decent job with the opposite sex voices. I absolutely loved Ash as Cameron.

Story: This is the first book in the Citrus Cove series. It is also a new genre for this author who normally writes monster romance. I absolutely loved it. The plot was thrilling with some suspense and mystery along with small town charm. The spice was top tier. Like one handed reading caliber. There was also a nice balance between plot and spice. I will definitely be continuing the series.

Narration: If this was a standalone the narration would have been great. However, since this is the third book the narrators didn’t make the voices different enough from the previous books. It is duet so it has that going for it

Story: I really enjoyed Fionn and Roses’s relationship story. It felt organic and relatable. The spice was lovely. The plot outside of the relationship was a bit weak and forced. It also was pretty easily resolved. There was decent banter and funny moments throughout. Barbra stole the show IYKYK. I am exited this wasn’t the end and look forward to future books.

Narration: If you are listening to this you are already in love with these narrators. I am super excited to have Shane East back as well.

Story: I loved this story on two levels. The first level was the introduction to this series’ set of main characters. The horseman are all grumpy and adorable in their own way, the humor/banter is awesome as always and the spice is quality. At this point this series could be redundant but it really isn’t. The second level of this story is we all know this is the end of MG. The overarching story is finally going to be resolved at the end of Apocalypse. Getting to hear from previous characters and watch the pieces start coming together is so satisfying. I cannot wait for the next book!

Narration: This is dual narration. Ali Jaynes has an awesome accent that is fun to listen to and Drew Mehrtens has a delicious growl/rasp that made my brain feel warm and fuzzy.

Story: This is the first book in the Unraveling Monsters series. The story is so good and there is plenty of spice. The world building was well done and didn’t feel intrusive to the main plot. I really enjoyed all the nods to Māori culture and customs. The author lives in New Zealand and you can tell they have done their research. I am excited to continue reading this series since the next book isn’t in audiobook yet.

Narration: It is not duet narration but it still pretty good. The female narrator did a good job with Ashlyn and the male narrator had enough variety to make the multiple male characters distinct

Story: This is book one of the Memphis duet. One of the tropes isn’t my favorite but there are enough good ones for me to keep reading. The plot is good and keeps you guessing about who the bad guy is. The ending is a major cliffhanger but that was expected. The second book doesn’t have an audiobook so I will be reading the book.

Narration: This is duet narration. I loved the accents the narrators used. People actually from the same countries of the characters may not feel they were authentic but they made my ears feel good.

Story: I needed this story. I have been reading a lot of dark emotional romance and this was a nice refreshing palate cleanser. It is a sweet friends to lovers romance. The characters aren’t original and neither is the story but it felt like putting on a warm fuzzy blanket or drinking a warm cup of cocoa. It was familiar and soothing while also being poignant and heart-felt. My only complaint is I wish Freya would have made Mack grovel a bit more.

Narration: All our favorites doing what they do best. The addition of Eden was so stinking cute

Story: This is a novella that happens after War and Pestilence and at the same time as Death so you definitely need to be caught up before reading if you don’t want spoilers. It is about 60% delicious smutty smut as we have come to expect from these characters and 40% plot. There was a plot twist I did not see coming and had me shouting in my car like a madwoman. Overall this is a great quick listen!

Performance - On the plus side this is duet narration but that is about the only thing it has going for it. The male narrator does not have enough variation in his voice. All the MMCs sound similar. The only one that was distinct was Smith and the voice he chose was super annoying. The female narrator was good though so that helped me get past the male voices.

Story - This is a complete duet and the first book was better than the second. It is RH with hidden from society supernaturals, specifically vampires. The plot wasn’t unique but it was enjoyable. The second book was a little bit less believable as far as character motivations but it wasn’t bad. There are some very steamy scenes that I thoroughly enjoyed.
