Wonderful Clean Love Story

This is a lovely story about a Christian girl starting out life. Throughout the book I felt like I could relate to the character as I have many things in common with her. This is just the beginning of her love story and so you have to read (listen to) the other two books in order to find out what happens! The narrator does an excellent job she has a very sweet voice. I highly recommend this book and any of Sandra Byrd's books!

Sandra Byrd is an amazing author! The story was captivating and beautiful! I really enjoyed listening to it. The narrator also did an excellent job with her wonderful English accent! I can't wait to listen to the other books in the series!

Life Changer!

This book is amazing! Annie gives you a whole new perspective. For me it is finding God in the every day life which is the bits and pieces that are just lovely. Like a sunrise, like a sweet gesture from someone, like progress made in a project or a goal. It's the little things you hold onto to keep you going to keep you pushing for the goal or just getting out of bed every day. And for me when I see those bits of lovely it reminds me that God is with me and he's giving me those bits of lovely so I can make it through a difficult time or anything! I highly recommend you get this book. It's read by the author and by the end you feel like her long lost friend. I just love this book!

One of my favourites!

This is the beginning of one of my favourite series! I am hooked! I was initially not liking the narrator, but she grows on you... She is definitely a lot better than some I've heard!!! Check out Metro Girl & Motor Mouth if you like this series, they are also really good from Evanovich & this same narrator...

Great Narrators, Great Story!

What made the experience of listening to Soft Focus the most enjoyable?

The narrators.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that it was a mystery/love story. I also liked the fact that there was both a man and a woman narrating, it made it more entertaining.

What does Dick Hill and Susie Breck bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

I love the way both of them read. They bring life to the characters unlike any other narrators. I think some of their personality & creativity comes out in the reading. They are my favorite narrators!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I almost did. I just downloaded it yesterday morning and I am already through!

Couldn't put it down

I am a romance girl. The only novels I had read before this book was fantasy, The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and Stardust. I was very apprehensive about this book but I got free for joining audible... I could not stop listening. It kept me interested the whole time. I liked that it was a long story cuz I couldn't get enough. Now almost 2 years later I am done listening to all but 61 Hours and Worth Dying For. Lee Child is a great author and this is one of my favourites. I also have to mention that Dick Hill is one of my favourite readers. He does accents very well and keeps it interesting. Dick puts feeling into his reading, like you are supposed to when you read aloud. He could teach some of these other readers a lesson!
