Historia
New York Times best-selling author Patrick Lencioni has written a dozen books that focus on how leaders can build teams and lead organizations. In The Motive, he shifts his attention toward helping them understand the importance of why they're leading in the first place. Lencioni thrusts his listeners into a day-long conversation between rival CEOs. Shay Davis is the CEO of Golden Gate Alarm, who, after just a year in his role, is beginning to worry about his job and is desperate to figure out how to turn things around.

Great book to help people determine if they should or should not move into a leadership role. The examples are a great way to drive home the point of the author’s message.

Historia
The Supreme Court's decision in Brown v. Board of Education is widely considered a seminal point in the battle to end segregation, but it was in fact the culmination of a decades-long legal campaign. Root and Branch is the epic story of the two fiercely dedicated lawyers who led the fight from county courthouses to the marble halls of the Supreme Court, and, in the process, laid the legal foundations of the civil rights movement.

A Must Read For Every Human Living In The US
Revisado: 01-15-24
The narrator was amazing. I was engaged from start to finish. The book was a well-written account of the lives of two legal giants and the network of awesome attorneys and citizens they organized to overturn a terrible law. They sacrificed so much so that future generations would thrive. Thank you❤️

Required Reading
Revisado: 01-24-21
I teach in higher education and as a woman of color I believe everyone should read this book. The information shared by Mrs. Saad is spot-on. I was amazed at how accurate her writing captured the experiences of BIPOC. If you want to dismantle white supremacy, start with this book. BIPOC, if you want to heal from the harm done to you, I recommend reading this book. It was extremely therapeutic, practical, and empowering. Thank you Mrs. Saad!
