This was very well written , which is an understatement!! The story has all the right elements, and affords the reader mental pictures of the action taking place at that time. It brings together several books in one stroke.
I loved this because it was appealing, full of the right amount of tension, sentiment, and action. I can’t decide if I like Baldacci, or Craig Johnson best. It’s a toss up!

Historia
In Bones on Ice, forensic anthropologist Temperance Brennan gets wrapped up in the ultimate cold case: a death on Mount Everest. It is called the “death zone”: the point on Everest, nearly five miles high, above which a climber cannot be rescued. More than 250 souls have lost their lives there. Most of the bodies remain, abandoned, frozen in place. When an earthquake leads to a miraculous recovery, Dr. Temperance Brennan is hired to identify the frozen mummified human corpse.

Awsome, gripping. A short listen, but a full tilt impact story. I know few authors that can pull this off. Dr. Reich’s would be one of those.

Deliver Us from Evil
Revisado: 05-02-19
Very well done! Not the same, as the chair gripping King & Maxwell....but nonetheless, packed with information and though provoking concepts, as “evil” takes on new human dimensions. Is science right? Can DNA unspool in response to the environment? It has led me into new thought territory. Those issues have been skirted, as we watch Shaw in a new light. This is an excellent read.

He's the first person Decker ever arrested for murder back when he was a young detective. This one started slow, but is packed with interesting research and details about daily life that most of us fail to pay attention to. I loved the fact that previous characters and situations were woven into the story seamlessly. No research and details about satellites, but lots of details about the job market, human desires and how they impact our decisions.

Split second review David Baldacci

I started this book years ago, and left it. Now, I returned to it to experience what I missed. King and Maxwell make a great team! This story demands that you give it your full attention when you are reading it. Lest you miss the heart pounding, edge of your seat moments. So cleverly woven together, with an action packed story and ending.

Review of the escape

Another spell binding story by David Baldacci. Mr. Baldacci, must be the best researcher on the planet, because of all the small details he builds into his stories. These small details about locations, mood and attitude, weapons, scenery are what makes his stories jump to life. I can can see everything in my mind as I listen to his audio books. I’m there, also. And could not be without the endless hours of research put into the production of the book. I have been a fan of David Baldacci ‘s book about eight years now. Such fine work , and he makes it seem almost effortless! Many thanks for such wonderful articulation, and research.

The last mile

This was, yet another, book I could barely put down to work. I would say, one of the best Amos decker book I have listened to. The reading of the book itself, was excellent, no breaks in the voices, as I noticed in a John puller book.
The story was long and detailed, which I enjoyed, with a lot of bits and pieces that had to be skillfully pulled together. Like braiding hair. You have to really pay attention to this material, for it to be meaningful, and to follow the twists and turns.
Fairly complex story. Starts out simple and dramatic, and the story deepens, and pulls your attention right along with it .
What a great way to pass a day running errands! Takes away the pain of several errands.
