Never a dud with David

I love David Baldacci. His books are always fresh - even though most of the characters are now well known to the legion of fans. In this latest book, 2 of his main characters (and their offsiders) meet up to help each other get to the end of their respective cases. I didn't know who the villain was until the last few pages so I enjoyed this book right to the end.

I hang out for Brett's books

I tend to check Audible regularly for new stuff from my favourite authors. Brett Battles is one of those. I have never been disappointed by any of his novels and this one was not different. What was different was that this book introduced 2 new characters to the Quinn team that I hope Brett can explore in future novels. I am not introducing the characters here as I don't want to give anything away. As I write this I have just been advised that Brett's next book is already out in book form so I have already started The Wait until it comes out on Audible.
Keep up the excellent work mate.

Great new read

Great book - Breakneck pace, well detailed - a sort of reading version of John Wick, but .........not over complicated.
Fully intend getting the followup this month.

Another Great Read

I "discovered Brett Battles" via a promotion on Audible. I loved the book straight away and set out to catch up on all the others. None of them have disappointed. This one, was a little different as it centred on the normal hero's sidekick.
I loved it and would thoroughly recommend it.

Worth waiting for

Simply LOVE Brett Battle's books. I have to wait a little longer for the books to come out in audio but it is always worth the wait.I found the subject matter of the book a little bit disturbing as it deals with modern day slavery which is a real issue but as usual good triumphs over evil so all good.
Now to sit back and wait for the next one - hopefully not too far away.

Continuation of Excellence

First introduced to Bernard Cornwell when I was stuck in a rainstorn in Papua New Guinea. Read the first Sharpes book in a day. Since then I have read every book Cornwell has written - even the romances.
But ......I do think that the Utred series is the best
Love them and always get excited when I see a new one on the horizon.

There's nothing not to love

I was hanging out for this book and was not disappointed. I bought it as soon as I could and placed it at the top of my books to listen to.
Brett Battles has become oneof my "go to"authors as the stories are fast paced and have a team of characters who increase interets.]
My advice? Give it a whirl.

Another Brilliant story

What made the experience of listening to Pushing Brilliance the most enjoyable?

Another refreshingly different story in the vein of Robert Baldacci, excellently told and "brilliantly" told by Dick Hill.

What did you like best about this story?

I have read all of Tim Tigner's available books and have become a big fan. In my opinion his stories have their own appeal with stories that are "outside the box". They are fast paced and keep you gripped from start to finish.

What does Dick Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Those who have all of Lee Child's audiobook will know Dick Hill well. In the same way that he he brings Jack Reacher into being, Dick Hill gives Tim's characters the realism and life so that you are caught up in the actual story - not just the spoken word.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Who cares what my tag line would be? I would love to see all Tim's book made into movies.I presume some studio already has bought the rights?

If you haven't heard of Tim Tigner, buy any of his books.- You will be pleased that you did.

Another Brilliant story

Would you listen to Coercion again? Why?

I find Tim Tigner's stories very original within the genre, well written and fast paced.
Compares to Lee Child very well.

What other book might you compare Coercion to and why?

Any Jack Reacher novel or any of Tim's other stories.

Have you listened to any of Dick Hill’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Dick Hill's voice is different, but then.....he is also the voice of Jack Reacher!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I have come to love Tim's books. I find them refreshingly original in theme and always fast paced.
I am afraid that my reviews might sound like I am a mate of Tim's but I live in New Zealand and only found his books through an Audible recommendation.
