Historia
Jack is a faceless gamer known as The Joker. He makes a living playing video games and using his gravelly voice to bring people’s sexual fantasies to life. When the top gaming site on the West Coast sends someone out to interview him, Quinlan walks into his apartment with her auburn curls and thick curves, and they’re instantly drawn to each other. Quinlan has no idea of the monster that lurks beneath the surface of his calm demeanor. Jack is quicksand, pulling her down into the dark underbelly of his desires.

Unbelievable narration you won't want to miss
Revisado: 02-16-22
I loved the premise of this story about an anonymous gamer who has an in-depth interview with a writer.
The writing was so well done, the characters seemed genuine and fragile, even for such a short novella.
The real hero of this audiobook is the narrator vo.EROS. Incredibly talented, his ability to create life to the story through various voices is astonishing. You'll want to listen to this over and over!

Intense and thrilling!
Revisado: 02-16-22
This was my first book by Molly Doyle and I definitely recommend making yourself comfortable with the warnings prior to purchase.
That being said, omg I was not prepared for how intense this short story would be. It was wild and crazy, but in the best psychological thriller type of way. It was the sort of story that had you rooting for the bad guy, knowing he was the bad guy all along.
Jaclyn Kelso and vo.EROS were magnificent narrators! Every character's voice was highly distinguishable and perfectly portrayed. This book wasn't just narrated, it was brought to life and acted out as a fantasy for each listener.
I would 14/10 recommend the audiobook bearing the warnings provided.

Adorably sweet story with a newly uncloseted best friend's little brother. It had all the feels of a cozy, heartwarming hug. Perfect for this time of year!

Roman Reynolds needs a housekeeper and Ezra Powell is arguably the best. Despite their rocky start, Ezra is determined to set Roman’s house to rights without any distractions, if only the man would keep his shirt on and stop looking so damn handsome all the time. An ex-NFL player and confirmed bachelor, Roman has been on a long losing streak when it comes to men.

Enjoyable!
Revisado: 09-21-21
I loved how Ezra's autistic character was portrayed in this story. I loved how Roman was there, to understand and give him space, answer his questions, and give him everything he wanted.
Honestly, I thought some of the sexy times were a bit squicky as well as the uniform that Roman and Jay had Ezra wear. There were just some random things that were over Ezra's head that didn't sit well with me and made Roman look like a jerk.
I liked the overall story, with Roman letting Ezra set the pace and tone of the relationship, but some of it just got to be a little too weird for me.

I really enjoyed this! I found that Nic was such an interesting character, being trans, but in a state of transition, not knowing what his boyfriend/future boyfriend would think of his upcoming surgery. I adored the fact that he went all in with Kyle, basically from the start.
Kyle was so freaking sweet. I loved his character, how he showed Nic that he would be there for him, how he stayed. Loved it.

Historia
Five years ago, Zeph met River. The timing couldn’t have been worse. An orphan with something to prove and the ghosts of his past breathing down his neck, Zeph took the offer from a pro MMA gym to live and train in the Midwest. River let him go easily. If it was a convenient excuse to escape emotional intimacy, neither of them had to admit it. Until now.

Underwhelming
Revisado: 12-26-20
I wanted to love this book as much or more as the first, but I just couldn't get there. It seemed like it was based on sex, with scenes of dancing and storyline interspersed throughout, but not enough for me. I just couldn't get into the characters enough to be invested.

Bas is determined to do right this time around - by his medley relay team and his rookie mentee. Jacob Burrows is in over his head. The Olympic experience - from the hazing, to the endless practices, to the unrelenting media - makes the shy nineteen-year-old’s head spin.

Didn't connect with Bass
Revisado: 11-20-20
Loved the narration, of course. Nick J. Russo always does a fantastic narration with perfect voices.
I really loved Jacob. He was young, but mature, having had to grow up too fast and take on the responsibility of caring for his father. In the end, I wanted more for him. Bass just didn't seem reliable and proved it over and over and over again. There was nothing in the story that led me to believe he deserved all of the chances he was given.

Historia
There once was a lane, filled with well-tended lawns and well-fostered friendships, of well-appointed houses all neat and tidy and those that live within, of stories and mysteries that manifest for only fleeting moments for the few who pay attention. This is one such tale. A tale about pleasant people, about the lives they live, about their wants and dreams, about their loves and losses, their joys and hates, about their days and nights in the company of cherished companions in the houses they call home.

Excellent
Revisado: 10-09-20
I was so impressed by this listen. It was a story told about a street and the people who inhabited the properties along it, not about a specific person or home. It was very descriptive and once I started getting really into each different plot of land, it just kept getting more and more interesting and creepy and detailed about the family that lived there and the things that had taken place.
It was very out of the box, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The story flowed well to the end, changing POV throughout, but never losing the listener.
I found the narrator to be spot on as well. Overall, I actually really enjoyed the audio book and the writing and would definitely recommend.

So worth the listen
Revisado: 08-08-20
I loved this so much. I think I spent the first 3rd of the story laughing my ass off, then just enjoying the evolving relationship between Gideon and Eli.
I loved Eli's easy way and his snark. Gideon was moody, broody, and glass half empty, until Eli showed up as his nurse and changed the way he saw life.
Eli was the only person that made Gideon stop and listen, and in the end, was the only one for him.
Joel Leslie is a master at accents and this showed off his talents in a big way.
