Another satisfyingly captivating delve into the realm of behavior and our human frailties. Michael Lewis is the absolute master of weaving a story of psychological research into a revealing tale of discovery and insight. I am never disappointed in Michael’s work. I truly believe he could write a piece on the digestive system of an iguana and I wouldn’t be able to put it down until I was done. Thanks once again Michael.

The performance severely lacked a compelling listen. There was no tension or drama in the readers voice. The story had some tense plot events but the performance dampened any excitement.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this book. I had expected not much of a plot and too heavily laded with political insider drabble. obviously, Jame Patterson made sure his subtle plot structure, story development, and intense conflict were infused into this book. I was drawn in and had to keep listening as this story unfolded. Would highly recommend this for those looking for political intrigue and unimaginable terror.

What made the experience of listening to Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Enigma the most enjoyable?

Like all the Bourne classics, this story weaves intrigue with exotic locales and memorable characters. The suspense was palpable but the production sank the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Jason is easily the most interesting character though Rebecca ran a close second.

Did Holter Graham do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Try as he did, his differentiation of the male characters was for the most part reasonable, but given the ethnicity of the variety of characters and the fact that some of the most important ones were female, it was a difficult challenge. It would have been a much better listen if they had spent a bit more to hire a female performer to handle the feminine parts. Especially when the book takes on more romantic scenes. With Holter doing the sultry and aggressive heroine parts is came off as a bad vaudeville play.

If you could sum up Tom Clancy Presents: Act of Valor in three words, what would they be?

A quick listen that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The tatics and technology employed in the story are fascinating and keep you engaged. The storyline is relevant and draws you into the story.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would certainly recommend this audiobook but would encourage an outright purchase of the book. The audio version was condensed and missed some of the drama and suspense that the full version gives.

What did you like best about this story?

It truly captured the pain, anguish, drama and risk of the mission and the personalities of those that lived it. You can feel the oppressiveness of the jungle, the haunting hopelessness of the prisoners and the elation of the rescue.

What about James Naughton???s performance did you like?

Mr. Naughton gave a superb rendition of the story. His emotional inflections made the story come alive and allowed the listener to actually experience the drama.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The brutality that the prisoners endured, the mindless, senseless treatment by the capturing forces and the despair that they must have felt made the story that much more inspiring. War is hell.
