AMAZING STORYLINE!

Had a lot of twists and turns with characters that had interesting gifts, and I love how they intertwined that brawdened and inhance the story. The characters are strong and believable in the way they expressed their emotions. I had problems with the names of all the animals, so I will read the 1st & 2nd book again before the Beasts of War in the series comes out.

Would you listen to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo again? Why?
I have listened to it more than once at my favorite parts already. I think his accent had a lot to do with how he solidified the image of the characters.
What other book might you compare The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to and why?
I can't compare, at this point, The Girl with the Dragon Tatto to another book because it was my initial experience with audio books.
What does Simon Vance bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He sets the atmosphere and tone of the scene with his voice and conveys the feelings spot on. There are parts in the book that were boring and I could not see myself reading those parts but listening to him I came to appreciate them and bought relevance to the story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
This was definitely a book that I wanted to listen to in one sitting but was very frustrated with inevitable interruptions. I did lose sleep over it though, which I didn't mind.
Any additional comments?
I love Simon Vance's depitciton of the the characters and felt that he was spot on for the series!! I look forward to listening to more of his work. I have read all three books in the trilogy and can't imagine anyone else narrarating these books.
