Good Message Cluttered by Disappointing Storyline

Though the messages in this book would have been really inspiring, I spent most of my time disappointed by the trite storyline and even more cliche love subplot. I also was conflicted by how the life improving ideas were bestowed upon the characters in wildly unrealistic and magical ways. It made the ideas feel further from reality, when it should have been doing the opposite.
