I’ve always admired Priscilla Presley, but this audio book made me appreciate her more. Her sweet voice and giggles as she read her story made it seem like she was sitting across from me telling me the story.

Lisa Marie a life too short!

It was an interesting book about a person that endured tragedy from a young age. She did touch on all of her marriages, but briefly. I think her children provided her happiness. She was a beautiful person but rarely smiled. I think the book helped me realize she never got over her father’s death.

The story had suspense and mystery that kept my interest. The narrator had an accent that truncated some of the words, which made me replay some of her dialog. However the story was entertaining.

Patience of Bob

It was a great capture of history and facts, since it was actual recordings. When Trump was not factual, Bob would note the truth if Trump embellished his stories. I think Trump has ADD because he can not focus on any question asked and goes off on an unrelated tangent. Kudos to Bob Woodward for his patience to continue to keep him on track.

Charlie was an incredible person who accomplished more than most. Even when things were hard, he never gave up. He made great progress in medicine.

An unfinished story?

The novel was compelling and made me want to continue to finish it quickly because of all of the unanswered questions. Unfortunately for Niru’s parents, the story would always be unfinished with a lot of the details not answered about his death. At first, I had agreed with other reviews about being disappointed about the ending. However, it made me think a lot about it, and I realized that that this is reality for a lot of the families that suffer from the death of their loved ones due to the miss judgment of the situation’s by law enforcement.

Learned about the dust bowl migration.

Great characters and navigation. Yes, it’s sad, but this was life in the Great Depression and during the dust bowl. This was a book I found hard to put down until I knew what would happen.

The ending will surprise you.

It was a good story because it was difficult to figure out what was happening and how it would end. I will definitely read another book by these authors.

Sally shows another talent.

Not only is this well written, she performs this as if she is on stage. It is brutally honest, to the point of wanting her to realize she is in denial of her history. I now wonder if her past has helped her become the actor she is has become. She has portrayed some of the most challenging roles we have seen.

Factual, Riveting and Hard to Put Down.

Peter Janney has done a lot of research while possibly putting his own life in jeopardy. It is well written and captvating as he relates his pesonal experiences along with the story. Of the approximate dozen books I have read, this would be the one I would choose for helping to explain many questions I had about the the Kennedy assassination and the history during this time.
